和歌山県と淡路島の間にある紀淡海峡（友ヶ島水道）は、瀬戸内海から太平洋に抜ける重要な航路で、多くの商船が行き交う交通の要衝です。
今回の撮影では帆船日本丸（にっぽんまる）が太平洋に向かう姿を撮影することもできました。後半部分に登場しますので、優美な姿をぜひお楽しみください。
