Loki has a lot of themes similar to some of the OG straw hats. He supposedly ate the “sun god” fruit which is a direct comparison to Luffy. He is found bound up like Zoro was and he’s a trickster like Usopp. Nami was considered a traitor by her village for working with the pirates that was oppressing them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Loki was in a similar situation.

agreed! Elbaf truly needs to be the last of the huge arcs other than the final, final arc. I can see us leaving Elbaf, moving onto meeting either Cross Guild or RevArmy. Depending on who we meet will determine what the other group does. Such as if Luffy meets his father and Sabo, Vivi must be introduced back into the crew so that Cobra’s message can be passed down the only way Oda intends for it to be passed down. Also that would allow Cross Guild to try an Impel Down pt2. No matter which order it happens, somewhere in there (maybe even already in Elbaf), the crew will get the final poneglyph before finally running into major problems with Blackbeard and Imu.

@Syv Hi Syv. Hope this gets picked in the next upload. I feel was Jarul got hit on his head when he was with the king and 100 soldiers. They pin Loki for killing the 100 other giant guards and left jarul cause he lost his memory of the event due to the head trauma. The god kinghts/gorosei tried to get the giants under their control as Emu wanted but failed cause Loki fended off the attack and was stopped by shanks for going out of control due to the ancient giant blood within Loki. They interfered and had Loki pinned for the attempt of murder on the king.

There is huge chance that Shanks' mum hated the celestial dragons and did not want to have Garling's children but was "forced" like Ginny to have his children, so when she found out she had twins, she saw an opportunity to at least save one of the children and give him a chance to live freely and not grow up to be a celestial dragon. That baby was Shanks who ended up getting picked up by Roger's crew.

My big theory I’ve never seen anyone talk about that probably isn’t true would be that Rocks is a holy knight. The world government twists everything to their will so who’s to say they didn’t plan God Valley as a way to fake Rocks death and have him join the holy knights. I think i found Loki’s DF & the first to make this connection; In Norse mythology Nidhogg is a giant serpent dragon that sits in the underworld chained to the bottom of the world tree by its roots chewing at them daily to escape; It is written that nidhogg freeing himself from the world tree roots marks the beginning of Ragnarök, but there is more. Why did he get chained to the world tree? Odin banished him to the underworld... for being the curse of Asgard (Elbaf). It gets even better; After being banished he became the ruler of the shores of the underworld, ruling over the beasts & all criminals sent to the underworld. It doesn’t stop there; Even though Nidhogg is considered powerful, evil & malicious & is the curse of Asgard & the start of Ragnarok, he sees Asgard & the world tree as his home & would do anything to keep it safe, even sacrificing himself. His powers? Poison & fire. His name is related to loss of honor & is seen as the embodiment of a villain. He is viewed as the balance of good & evil, the chaos dragon. This fits Loki so perfectly, labeled the curse of Asgard, both banished to the underworld, both now rule over the underworlds beasts & criminals, both chained to the bottom of the world tree, both being released from their chains will begin Ragnarok, both will do anything to protect their home that banished them & sees them as the embodiment of evil; What do you think ?

I actually like the Nidhogg idea a lot,, I think the lore makes sense and it fits with many other theories about his DF (such as Surtr//Jormungandr//Fenrir etc) in terms of how it plays into Norse Mythology. Also, generally I'm just a big fan of Nidnogg in general since it's a reoccurring monster in Final Fantasy lol! Overall, solid and unique theory brother!!

It's possible that if Loki is training his Observation Haki while tied up like that, it could be that rather than a combat-type version, he's training for OBSERVATION itself. Expanding his senses of perception wider rather than the more focused way everyone else does. Like he's working to be able to 'see' what's going on in Elbaph from his prison. ADD: Another thought is that Iscat(Yscat? Not sure currently) could be the Fake Elbaph counterpart of Loki himself. Lions are often heavily associated with the Sun after all.

You are definitely correct, Sy, about how we can let misplaced theories bother us in some way. I try to always appreciate any work of art for what it is, and understand the story that is being told. However, I can’t get over the fact that Oda didn’t use the Gods Knights to introduce the family names that we don’t know out of the original 20. I imagined Oda was going to make however many knights were needed in order to cover the other 10 names that we haven’t been told yet. Now that leaves me hoping that Oda has something in store for the first twenty. As I’m hoping the heads of each family can meet during the final war, and this is where Imu will introduce themselves to the saints that aren’t Gorosei. I could see it sort of being a scene similar to FMA Brotherhood when Bradley goes missing and Father steps in to take control of the military.

The way Loki took the fruit from his father sounds kind of like how black beard took whitebeards fruit, what if the giants know how to do the same technique as Black Beard and that’s how they’ve passed down the mythical fruit through generations. My theory is that by the end of this arc or at some point in the story Loki will be on the verge of death and transfer his powers to Luffy and Luffy will become the true sun god with both half’s of his power finally together again and that will be luffys next upgrade. Right now he’s incomplete with only half of his power and him getting another fruit would match BB

I believe King Harald, seeking to protect Elbaph’s future, secretly negotiated with the World Government, thinking an alliance would spare his kingdom from the destruction suffered by nations like Ohara and Flevance. To symbolize his commitment to peace, Harald removed his horns a sacred marker of Elbaph’s ancient warrior pride…..mirroring how leaders like Nefertari Cobra and Kozuki Sukiyaki sacrificed tradition to avoid conflict. The mysterious summoning circles in Aurust Castle likely served as a direct communication link to the Gorosei during these negotiations, where Harald was promised protection in exchange for Elbaph’s submission. Loki, however, saw this as a betrayal of Elbaph’s independence and a disgrace to their ancestors’ legacy. Unlike his older brother Hajrudin, who grew up outside the royal family, Loki lived in the castle and may have discovered Harald’s plans firsthand. Enraged and driven by his belief in Elbaph’s warrior traditions, Loki confronted Harald inside the Castle, where their clash ended with Loki killing his father and fulfilling the prophecy. Refusing to justify his actions whether out of pride, shame, (or to preserve Harald’s legacy). Loki allowed the giants to believe the worst….that he killed his father out of greed to eat the Devil Fruit and proclaim himself the Sun God. Leading to him leaving the country for 8 years and even after being defeated by Shaks, he continued to go with this lie to shield Elbaph from immediate retaliation by the World Government, preserving Harald’s image as a martyr for peace. After Harald’s death, the World Government abandoned diplomacy and began sending Cipher Pol agents to infiltrate Elbaph to tighten their grip on the giants. In recent chapters, when it was revealed that Rodo had captured some of these agents, it could be interpreted as the giants resisting the World Government’s advances.

One thing I want more people to discuss is WHY king Harold is a peace lover. From what we know about elbaf he should have grown up surrounded by battles and should have loved it. Whatever made him change so much has to be personal and I think mother carmels flashback could tell us a few things. What if king Harold knew she was working for the government and the entire reason the WG wanted to invade so bad is because it's an island of warriors. So what if king Harold wanted to change this to protect his people. To effectively try and take the target off of their back. However this plan fails because of a conspiracy against him. I feel like jarl or someone close to Harold could have sold him out thinking what they were doing was right. Then Loki walks in and finds his father on the ground beaten. Angered Loki picks up his father's swords and brings it down as hard as he possibly can on jarl's head. Jarl's helmet saves his life and Loki is seen attacking jarl, surrounded by many fallen giants and his own father he was said to kill one day. Loki would be screwed in this situation. NOBODY would believe him, not even hajruden. This could be what finally makes Loki spiral and begin to last out. He's not completely bad he's just troubled and maybe that's why Zoro is so drawn to him because he was effectively seen as a demon just for trying to survive. Sure he was a bounty hunter but he hunted down bad people and was clearly a kind person. One piece has always show that what other people say about you dosen't always matter

Honestly I thought immediately that it was confirmed to be Shanks bruther with the title. Hust with the first two letters of the name being the same and Shamrock definitely not being the mystery guy on Elbaph as I'd not expect Oda to put that in the title, unless it's either an old name or some massive reveal. For an outside character to be that reveal, and with that naming scheme as it is immediately giving celestial dragon naming schemes. I obviously didn't take it for granted to be that idea, but I expected literally this outcome just by reading the title, when I couldn't even read the chapter at the time. Mystery man was a far off second choice and with that one panel after Loki's scream, there was a bait for mystery man, but just one of those little "strikes" of Oda. BUT...!!!! BUT IS IT A SPOILER IF THE AUTHOR PUTS IT IN THE TITLE, THE ONE WHO PUT ACES DEATH IN THE TITLE... !!!! Yeah, it's not. Obviously!

Not sure if the kaido and Harold being as similar as we see being a thing that their related in anyway. They may just look somewhat similar. Because both Luffy and Zoro saw the portrait and kaido was a big opponent for both of them and neither even mention anything. In Luffy case he didn't mistake him as straight up kaido, which would be how he would notice. And I'm sure Zoro would just note the similarities but think nothing of it until something is confirmed but neither noted any similarities, which makes me think in universe they might not look as similar as the drawing for us

The Izcat represents Harald since it wears a crown, 👑 with a similar facial expression in lion form. Lions, like the Thousand Sunny, represents the sun☀️ and the sun god. The king personifies the sun god more than anyone else in Elbaf. The devil fruit isn't a lion zoan, but gives you a face like the sun. Loki's eye shine light literally like sunlight, and perhaps even absorb sunlight to get more power. Like Superman and the yellow sun? THE SUN DOESN'T REACH INTO THE UNDERWORLD where he's chained! That's more meaningful than we originally thought! ☀️
