Székesfehérvár (H), Saint Stephen cathedral noon bell March 15, 2024 (FHD)

The Saint Stephen cathedral is located in the Belváros district of the city of Székesfehérvár, along Arany János street, on Pope John Paul II (two) square, and its two towers house a total of three bells. The central bell of Béla III (three) of Hungary, 900 kg and 119 cm diameter, located in the north tower (the one on the left when viewed from the front), which sounds every noon, was poured by Sándor Glóger in Veszprém in 1855. The bell is sounds by an electric motor with a chain wheel without a fixed clapper. The scene of this video were taken with the Sony DSC-HX60 camera in FullHD resolution and with a frame rate of 25 fps without resizing. The photos in the video were taken with the same device, which were resized to the same resolution as the video.

Itt milyen időközönként harangoznak?

Sajnos a székesegyház pontos harangozási rendjéről nincsenek információim, de a Magyar Harangok Honlapja (www.magyarharangok.hu) szerint a III. Béla király harangot a déli időn kívül reggel és este, illetve a vasárnapi nagymisék kezdetekor is hallható. Ehhez a templomhoz kirándulás alkalmából látogattam el ide, így sajnos nem ismerem az itteni harangozási szokásokat.

@@bojtoskarolyalkotasok Én még azt is tudom, hogy a Prohászka harang a püspöki szentmise előtt 5 percig szól. A 3 harang együtt pedig ritkán.
