Thanks for the updates and that you’re happy with support from SZGH. I’ve exchanged many emails to get everything organised, Making payment for full system tomorrow. I’d be keen to see some more info on how you wired it up. Looks like you went for 220v drives. I’m requesting 380v drives and hope it’s the right choice

Hi Dean Thanks for the videos I'm a machinist no electronics training. I've made a cnc plasma table using Mach3 and Longs motor and breakout board set it works well, Now I'm trying to convert an old TOS vertical milling machine to CNC I'm interested in buying one of the controllers but am a little weary of spending 1500$ on something that may be way to complicated for me to set up. Could you tell me if this controller connects to a breakout board or do all the motors connect directly to the controller? Thanks

Yes, and it works very nice. Also, fit the same absolute controller with 180mm 2.2kw absolute servos on a Hurco BM40. Both work great and are relatively simple upgrades. SZGH are super helpful when it comes to setting up the controller.

been working on my system 1000 Mc now for about 2 months, using teco drives and motors cant seem to get the motors to move ! ive had to use a 50 pin breakout board to to connect to the 15 DB cable , but nothing but lockup of the servos and no movements. What drives and servos did you use?

I used Servos and Motors from SZGH but that shouldn't matter. If the drives are enabled and the motors Lock up and you have connected to the correct Output signals they should work regardless of what drives/motors. Are your drives Step n Dir or Analog +/-10v and if they can be used with both like many do are the drives to correct Mode.?

@@hemsworthlad step and direction ! they have responded twice with pin outs from the controller and no movement! they are teco tsta drives and 750 w motors from machmotion ,got the motors moving with the driver control panel but not the szgh controller!

@@berndloos7903 Have you connected the input Di-1 to IG24 to Enable the Servo. Also, have you set parameter Cn001=2 so the drive is expecting an external pulse command.?

@@hemsworthlad Well that did the trick! in MPG the servos travel at the same speed forward and reverse, now to figure out why one way in manual (jog) mode all the servos will travel at a normal rate one way then reverse it and its like in rapid mode? any ideas ( I really appriciate your help) reading these CHINGLISH manuals is frustrating!
