+Dave Riverdog I think Biffy Clyro is one of the best bands at combining elements from different styles, ending up sounding natural and playing songs that are never the same.

Anyone know how to get simon's glorious Strat tone at 2:45?
@GraemeKanu8 жыл бұрын
+Nick Shillito (NickSMusic) No, but I'm guess you'd need a Boss Metal Zone MT-2 and an octave effect. At least, that's what it sounds like Simon's using here. It's definitely a more metal sounding rather than something you'd get from a distortion pedal. And his pickup selection could on the neck pickup. Though, I must admit despite my years playing the guitar, I've never got into specifics of tone or how to emulate a certain sound to the point of obsessing over it.

Nick Shillito I would suggest using a fuzz pedal and an octave pedal but you are probably not going to get it exactly like his without about 30 grand of rack fx.
