I’m hoping that one of Ghostface’s Fatalities, if not one of his Brutalities, is a nod to the iconic death of Casey Becker that caps off the cold open of the OG Scream. Also, I’m perfectly fine with Cyrax and Sektor being women in this New Era, much like how I’m fine with Takeda and Kenshi being cousins.

I’m glad Havik is getting his Time to Shine as a Villainous Threat Once Again as this Titan is Mad Chaotic and he creates a Dynasty better than Kang’s as I’m happy he’s excited to Unleash his Outer Chaos, I Honestly Love these New Versions of Sektor and Cyrax that I can see Build Up in their Actions Going Forward, Havik creating Noob Saibot from using Geras’ Blood it’s actually creative as it’s possible Havik twisted it to be connected to the Void which could explain his Voidmancy and I’m wondering if he will get Redeemed and how will the Sub-Zero Mental will work?, We finally got all of the Lin Kuei Members in One Roster after MK9, the Pre Order Skins are so Good I’m almost losing my Wallet, Ghostface, T-1000, and Conan will be Interesting Additions that I’m wondering how their Release Dates will Work, and we finally got Animalities Back after so Long in what I believe is 28 Years, Year 2 looks to be a Inpactful Event.

I mean, same applies to havik. The issue I have is that unlike the T-500, The T-1000 doesn't have any insides or a skeleton, it's fully liquid.. so how are they gonna make that work

The way I see it, if a character fits with the how the game looks and feels then they can be in it. Mkx felt more horror like due to the look of it, mk11 felt more action adventure, m1k feels more superhero like. So having a slasher appear in mk11 and m1k just don't feel right with me but I'm sure Ghostface and any other slasher they have in mind will be fun to play as.

I'm super excited for the story expansion and as far as characters go I think all the choices are great and excited to see if we will play all 3 characters for a chapter of the new story expansion. The one most out of left field is Conan for me but as someone who thought Peacemaker was the best character of KP1 I am most excited for the T1000 partly because he comes from a great film but I want to see his and Peacemaker's dialogue as Robert Patrick plays his dad on the show. Never seen any of the Scream films but I know people have wanted another Slasher to appear after MKX kind of turned into that.

I had my own theory for what would lead to the rise of Noob Saibot down the line. So i was a little disappointed to be wrong but hey it was just a theory I also dont get why so many other people make such a big deal about stuff like the cyrax and sektor change. It’s not like the egregious mk11 sindel retcon- I also have to wonder about why people want to see ghostface so bad Other than that, i have been unbelievably hyped for this since the trailer dropped

My takeaways: That praying mantis would’ve been perfect for Devorah. Not a fan of those last 3 characters. The theme here was the super heroes (80’s action stars was MK11 and horror movie characters was MK10). And if they were gonna throw in a horror character, Art the Clown would’ve been a better fit than Ghostface. And did Tanya and Skarlet get turned into robots and are now the new Cyrax and Sektor???

I'm not so excited with this Kombat Pack, especially with the MK characters they choose. I mean Cyrax and Sektor as females? They should've remained as males. And Noob Saibot? I didn't expect him to come out early. Maybe in Kombat Pack 3 or in MK1 sequel. Anyway, I have no problem with the new guest characters. Ghostface, Conan and T-1000 are good choices, but I wish we got some guest characters like Harley Quinn, Micheal Myers, Doomslayer, Shredder, Judge Dredd etc. Well, the characters I wanted for Kombat Pack 2 were Jade, Kai, Shujinko, Harley Quinn, Michael Myers (Halloween) or Ghostface (Scream) and Doomslayer (Doom). Also, it's great that animalities are coming back.

I’m very excited for T-1000 and Conan. T-1000’s shapeshifting and living-metal properties will likely lead to some crazy mechanics and combo potential, and I do wonder how the x-rays and fatalities are going to look on him. Conan is also a very fun and fitting choice, especially if you’ve read the books and comics. Ghostface, admittedly, I’m not that hyped about, since every Ghostface killer is not that big of a threat on thier own, as they are just regular teenagers. So I hope that Ghostface’s moveset will revolve around having body doubles to misdirect and overwhelm the opponent, as there’s always more than one Ghostface.
