Fun facts about T-10 tanks: T-10M tanks officially served in Russian army until 1993. Also T-10M was experimentally armed with 9K11 (9M14) "Malyutka" ATGM complex, second name of this is Object 272M, one of it's variants. Another fun fact about soviet tank: T-34-85 officially was in service in Soviet/Russian army until 1991.

Sturms is right, it's an asian assassin bug, Acanthaspis petax. The nymphs create a large mound on their backs consisting predominantly of ant carcasses, but other small insect corpses and bits of plants are often included. The adult bugs don’t use camouflage. It seems not to have a popular name yet...

No, it was neither the best nor the most advanced nor the last. The T-10M was fielded because it was cheaper (and lighter) than the IS-7 (the latter was probably the best). It wasn't the most advanced, and it wasn't the last (those honors go to the Object 770 heavy tank built in 1957, which featured an autoloader and dual axis stabilizer for its 130 mm gun)

By 1993 the T-10M would not have been a frontline tank, and likely would have been used in secondary areas where it would not be facing Abrams tanks or Leopard IIs. More likely it would face M60s and Leopard 1s where it would not have been that bad. Even old obsolete tanks are better than nothing.
