This set represents everything I ever wanted in a Lego Tank model.After building this set I'd like to personally shake the hand of the designer and the people behind it that made this model possible. The value of the quality parts alone is worth the price, paired with the complex, functioning, sturdy yet incredible detailed interior and exterior makes with a dream come true. I can't wait to see what sets they release next.

Fun facts: the US Army lost this tank for 27 years before it was found in some bushes in Fort Belvoir. It has also been called the T95 SPG, the 95 being a reference to its 95 ton weight. Its top possible speed is 8 miles per hour, though engineers said that prolonged operation at this speed would wear out the transmission and motor. its frontal armor is 12 inches thick. It takes about two hours for a crew to remove the outer set of tracks. Doom Turtle was never an official moniker, it came about from games like War Thunder and World of Tanks due to its abysmal top speed and pretty much 1 hit kill gun. There used to be two vehicles, one caught fire however and was scrapped.

The e-100 was never finished....it was just the hull
@arm27914511 ай бұрын
I mean to be fair, that speed was because because it had an 18 liter ford motor that only output 500 horses and about 1000ftlbs of torque, which is about 3 liters larger than a modern, stock, freightliner cascadia motor, and a little bit less powerful. The abrams has a powerplant with triple those numbers at roughly the same size, and while the abrams weighs 30 tons less than the t28, its top speed is 45 mph, so the expected top speed of a t28 with such a retrofit would be 30mph, a respectable speed for something weighing almost 200,000 lbs.

Impressively big, and the break away treads for narrow passage is a pretty clever design. Amazing interior detailing with the engine components. Printed parts look great.
