its sad that my audio for some reason did not work here but in a game it did. a bit dissapointed because maybe i could have heard you rage, would be a bit funny. but i do know how it feels brickmmeet, i have had such terrible building experience to with quite a few cobi sets. yes! cobi!

This is a great lego set, but after getting mine, the motor is definitely a bit weak and struggles moving forward, however, it has no problem reversing for some reason. The tracks also snag a lot, especially when turning. This lego tank is definitely a hunky one too, it looks way bigger in real life, I don't know how your's looks so small, it is probably just the camera. Unfortunately, mine also came with an incorrect piece for the triangular turret cheek part, and I had to modify a brick to attach it, the weird hinge pieces that it uses both faced the same direction.. lol. I have the Sluban T-54 and Sluban Panzer II coming next.

Quan Guan either is 'honestly really pretty decent' or 'utterly painful'. I haven't seen any midpoints ... makes me wonder if they have two factories that make parts for them, and one is ... far better.

I see your frustration about the brick quality, but I have to say I have a somewhat different experience. While everyone is saying Quan Guan quality is subpar, for me it was quite alright. I have built around 8 Quan Guan sets sofar, and while the quality was never as good as COBI or Panlos, it was never an issue for me. Okay, maybe once with the big 3000pcs MAUS tank, there were a few times I had issues with the bricks. Maybe I just got lucky, but I am hoping Quan Guan will improve in the future and have more unique designs! I have already ordered this Tiger tank, once it arrives I will update if mine had bad quality bricks as well or not.

The side tracks were removable to allow the T28 to be trasported by railway, otherwise it would be too wide and too heavy for that.

Rather have a new £100 cobi Tiger thanks looks better and now we have tiger 131 1/12 scale interiors and turret baskets in 1/28 scale tanks. Cobi has evolved to super cobi. Turret baskets are a nightmare to do. even after cobi sent me a parts package and mostly wrong parts and same one 6 times. lol. Like i have a bag of new tracks cobi sent me to fix Ferdie L/E tracks as some track pins just a little too thin and unclip.

I thought this was going to be the new Cobi Tiger.

I really hope you just had a bad batch as my model arrived this week and aim to build it next week - hope I don’t suffer as much as you did! Though also frustrated with the variable brick quality once built they do tend to display well (which is all I do with them) and are so much cheaper than COBI - though I buy both…am adding this to my Afrika Korps display 😊 great video as always!
