Over the years, the T-62A has received many changes. Some of these changes have been better than others. Recently, the tank received pbr textures, which in the process may have improved the armor profile while reducing its gun depression. Today, let's find out how the T-62A plays and whether or not it performs better.

@@MR_stone69They introduced a skill based matchmaker. Sounds not that terrible at first, but if you have a 55%+ winrate you will get a team full of 40%ers while the enemy gets 50%. Because you are good at the game you now have to hardcarry all of your matches.

@@ANON_security_programyou dont have to be 55% plus to get punished from this new MM. My WR is 53% career/56% 30 days/WN8 2300+ and yet im still punished in APAC. At least one AFK every 3-5 match. 40% made up most of my team with one or two 55% plus player. Always had one sided match that only last max 4 minutes. And this is happened on enemy team too. Steamroll after steamroll matches.

Honestly, the new MM is better for me. My account had a long time where I strugged... and I'm so tired of folks capping on me because my win rate is 48%. I'm a decent (55-60% most days) player these days and the games with the new MM are putting more balanced teams against me. YMMV.

I played the T62-A now in couple of rating battels....in my opinion it got stronger now. I bounce way more shots thatn before and the stronger turret outweighs the -1° gun depression for me. Of course in some cases you miss the gun depression but you can deal with it.

As a close to 50 percenter, the last year the "random" matchmaker has been this for me anyway. I could do 2500 average damage and get 20% wr. It already drove me to ratings battles. Same but no stress about stats

Previously, the biggest complaints ever were why are 46% players at tier 10, and they should be forced to get better before allowed in. WG seemingly facilitates this, so the complaints are my win rate will crash. 😂 This was always obvious because if you want only 60% players, then you will lose more. Mathematically, it's impossible for everyone to be 60%! The thing is, WG said rules are loosened if matchmaking takes too long, so how many 60% are ever in the queue at once? Probably very few, so the impact might be minor. I'm also suspicious we are reading it wrong. The skill based matchmaking could be each team would have corresponding players of each skill level, not teams entirely of a similar skill level. So 46% on both teams, 65% on both, etc. No more one team of 6 players over 50% vs a team of 1 player over 50%. Until we see the algorithm or an example, we don't know the approach. Don't forget WG never said anything about favourable matchmaking. We all experience this mode, typically with new tanks and get good teams for 10 battles. Also, we get runs of horror teams. This mode is the most frustrating. One or two bad teams, big deal. 12 in a row, that's a disgrace. Then a day or two later, magically all good teams. So you can be 25% in one session and 75% in the next. Ridiculous.

Following from my comment earlier, and watching half the stream, the issue now is not bad teams. It's good teams! If you over extend, they pounce. Whereas before you could take advantage of players completely unaware, and mistakes would not be costly. You also need check the stats of the enemy team, not just your own. Even then, I saw very few, if any, below 49%. Some battles, especially in that run of losses, you copped a super platoon whereas your team's failed. When a 56% does zero damage, that's not a bad team, that's bad luck. They made a mistake and got owned. I would not even judge the matchmaking after 100 battles. Try 1 month and see the overall impact. Most of all, I laugh at the complaints. Elite players were demanding higher quality teams. It seems you got it! They work more together, and exploit opportunities, notably when teams split. Battles definitely look like they last longer too, which was one of the key goals.

Isn't skill based MM something a lot of players asked for? Especially the big streamers except Fatness? And now that WG implemented it it's still not good? I feel like whatever WG does, it's not fine with the players, since many simply won't acknowledge their own mistakes in games (also a reason I like HRF, he knows his own booboos and says it)

I think new mm is better that before, atleast in all the matches I have played in the players are evenly matched and not as one sided as before. I play PC so I dont know if that makes a difference.

True ! i'm 59%wr myself, EU server, and before this new mm, i had only 40%WR human bots with 0-800 dmg in my team, barely doing anything at all. Now, i don't have so many afk players( if any) in my team; even if i lose, i lose with 3k+ dmg , but i'm not the only one in my team doing so much dmg, so it's MUCH, MUCH better than before.

@@astarothanatas This, pretty much all the games I play are very competitive very few steam rolls. Downside is its hard to get anything past 4k as every other teammate is getting 2k. But atleast it has been more enjoyable.
