Lol I wasn't paying attention to the thumbnail and thought this was SD2 at first. Good to see some more Warno Div breakdowns though, been ages since the last one and I always love this type of content from you. That BMP-1PG with the Grenade Launcher seems like a very good deal for just an extra 5 points, extra 400m range and just more damage/suppression with the drawback of not being able to tickle helicopters.

For me this game is 54.99. I have only ever played Normandy 44. This looks incredible but I’m curious if I can change the conquest settings to be like Steel Division and just little sectors? Also is it worth the price or is it half a game without the dlc?

I feel that the air tab is really weak, the MiG 21 isn't the best AA around. I played this deck and lost both cards of AA MiGs in quick succession, instant kills to AA that didn't seem to miss - ever. Still it's a fun unit, thanks for the dive. I like to use the rocket choppers to ferry the Luftsturmers. They only cost 100 pts, and an extra 4/6 multi role helicopters can help in a pinch.

Why the game is crashing hard on the start

Honestly I don't get this divsion at all. Aircraft? No SEAD, good AA, LGB. It's kind of mid. Tanks? Are about on the level KDA is at. Not too impressive. Infantry? Man, this blows. Recon? This . . . also really sucks. AA? Finally, some solid stuff here. Artillery? This is ok. Helicopters? It's fun. Your tanks won't be winning duels against tank decks. Your infantry will lose to mechanized decks. If you lose LGB's then you're at risk of just being ran over. You have a LOT of artillery that has 14K range, insisting that you anchor yourself into place to make use of this; yet two of your anchors (tanks and infantry, sometimes Recon) get absolutely shat on in an engagement if that engagement is not in your favor. The lack of SEAD insists that you cannot use LGB's without suicide missions if you're anchoring because if the enemy has good (NATO btw) AA then you can't reach them. No mobile mortars? So like, hypothetically, if you wanted to move from point A to B and your tanks that are inferior to the opposition with less numbers lose and you lack the smoke to extract or engage inward; what do you do? Hope that 35% ATGM IFV's can hit 3-4 shots on frontal armor? Hope the 50% Fagot hits 3-4 frontal shots on 1 tank? Do you rely on the limited numbers of recon units that you do have to somehow gather enough information to decide when you're gonna die? Man, this division blows.

I like how Eugen won't add certain division in SD2 due to warcrimes (though Allied warcrimes seem to be ok) and is now including active warcrimes in Soviet units. Seems fine. Note: I don't mind warcrimes in video games, I do mind publishers being inconsistent and pearl-clutching about these things.
