0:37 Are you sure the left shoulder of mannequin hitting the broken canopy will be alright?

@@Tradiejoe284 you would have seen a torn sleeve flapping in the wind if the canopy had lacerated the flight suit.

Surprised 😮the entire canopy isn't "ejected" absolutely so I imagine there is a reason for wanting to maintain pressurization despite ejection in some manner. It would be interesting to see some type of "glass" that can then reform after such an event in near real time. Could operate the aircraft still with some type "sapien" as such. Give new meaning to the term "bird 🐦 🕊️🐦 brain" anyways.

@@georgedoolittle9015 This kind of ejection design is with explosive cord on the canopy, sometime plus the canopy breakers on the top of the ejection seat. So, there is no need to “eject” the canopy.

A similar system is used on the T-45, AV-8B, and T-6, all have been proven effective countless times

I think in real life situation it might be more like riding in sports car and placing your head by open window with hat still on. It will be flying outward not in.

Looked to me there could be a problem with the second ejection being hit by the seat from the first ??? perhaps a 1 more second delay???

Looks like the rear dude caught the canopy with both legs on the way out. Were any leg bones broken and did it affect his trajectory out of the aircraft. Looks like you would explode the entire canopy or would that harm both pilots? Glad to hear both dummies survived. Just a little banged up after a rocket ride.
