While it would be AMAZING, I am doubtful as the event is in Russia, and currently it’s punishable by imprisonment for speaking out about the war.. or even calling it a war. I’m a bit doubtful that they would 😞

I’m sure there is more to the story but the reason for their break up and departure of disbandment was Lena refuses to be on stage with Yulia. Yulia was the front runner the lead vocals the high notes the pretty one etc. for so long for over 10 years and now that Yulia had throat cancer surgery and can’t do any high notes anymore at all and only does alto notes. Lena is the only one that can do the high notes now but she doesn’t want to be in Yulia shadow anymore. There is an interview in KZbin probably 5 months ago (English subtitles) where Yulia says “I am open to a reunion I’m open to do an album I’m open to collaborate again even as duo but Lena says no.” The patterm that I have seen is that Yulia is receptive and open to many things but Lena is a bit difficult to work with because she’s always changing her management team and staff. I feel like Lena right now is on a high horse because she release a Spanish album an English album and Russian album but none of them were successful she just had some hits but they are rare. Lena wants the spotlight she never got. You will see they start having problems when Yulia complains that she’s always screaming and yelling on stage that she’s losing her voice almost every night and Lena just said “I’m just gonna do my whisper I’m not screaming and I’m not doing high notes” so it is revealed in the interview of why a lot of their concerts were doing radio play back because Yulia couldn’t do the high notes every single night because she was losing her voice continuously get a hoarse. It ended twice 2011 and 2014 due to conflicts between the girls. They both have very different visions for how tatu should be.
