I wishes I found this video by yesterday, so my confidence grade would be 100% instead of 87% as the points I got from the school's assignment. Appreciate very much, and I'll keep watching some more in the future. Hoping that you will posting more complex transactions type like accrual, deferral, deferral transactions.

Thanks to you ... I have finished all of my HWs and assignments. I wish you are my instructor ... because we paid for the course but all we have is self-study with the accounting app.

Great videos! What program are you using to make the T accounts etc ?
@accountinghelp6 жыл бұрын
Hello Stacey, I use Excel to create the T accounts. You have to be a little clever with the cell fills and the border tools, but the result is usually aesthetic. :)

Great video. Thanks for sharing. I understand better from your explanation. But for transaction 2. We cant just credit cash instead? Since it never mentioned. Is there more answer to that or only one?
@accountinghelp2 жыл бұрын
We cannot credit cash because of the "on account" portion of the transaction. This means that we are going to pay for the supplies *later*, so no cash is changing hands on the date of the transaction.

I’ve searched and searched and still can’t find a video that tells me what order the accounts go in. Is it low to high first to last? Because my book is showing the assets all screwy (cash is the first and delivery equipment is second in the example but the equipment account is at the very bottom when it should be below the cash)

It really depends about what you are doing. If you are referring to a chart of accounts, we would have the broad assets than liabilities, then Capital, then revenues and then expenses. Now. The order that each individual one goes in, really depends on what the account number is. Typically for assets. For example, current assets would go first and then property plant and equipment. For current assets. Those would be listed in order of liquidity. For property plant and equipment, there isn't typically a specific order that they have to go in.
