I don't have much to add on top of what I sent you for the request right now, but yeah I'm super glad you enjoyed it. The member who stood out to you was Hyomin, and yeah she's uh.... quite the looker. She's the one who had the "DEAD" tattoo and the different colored eyes in the Number Nine mv. T-ARA were really gorgeous, Jiyeon (2:35, 11:34) was voted by idols multiple times as the prettiest female idol in those annual polls they run. My bias Soyeon (2:50, red headband 8:53) had the hugest most gorgeous eyes ever. My BW Boram (4:03, 8:45) was just the most adorable cutest little bean on the planet (also an unbelievably underappreciated vocalist). I guess expect more T-ARA lol. And you talked about the dancing: yeah, pretty much. T-ARA even for the time was not a very heavy choreo group, some of their more difficult were like Cry Cry or Roly Poly, but even those were either not that difficult still or, in Cry Cry's case, left the hard dancing parts to the main and lead dancers. And all of this is on top of how kpop has just evolved for choreo over the years, *especially* for female groups. There really was just not much emphasis on it back then. *everyone say thank you gfriend* not that it really matters, but its like "ay-vuh play-uh". doesnt really matter since its not my actual name or anything lol, but if you wanted to know.

T-ara was one hell of a group. They were one of SNSD's biggest rivals and were popular not only in Korea but also China and Japan. They were one of those groups who could handle any concept and any style of music. They can be cute one comeback and then sexy the next. A slower song to a much faster Upbeat song. Its unfortunate that they got stuck in that bad bullying scandal within the group and ultimately caused them to drop off the maps for a bit. They did manage to rebound a bit later on in their career shortly before their contracts expired with the company. At the moment, all members left the company but many of them do have the desire to promote together, however I believe they got in to a lawsuit with MBK Entertainment over the T-Ara name and I'm not sure if that's been resolved yet. MBK Entertainment is their company. Like T-Ara, they were up there rivaling the Big 3 companies as a fairly large and reputable company back in the day but over the years, they've kind of fallen off the maps too. They've had a few groups since T-Ara like Coed School, which split in to F-Ve dolls and SPEED, and DIA but none of them have reached the level of T-Ara.

Yup the T-ara members and MBK settled the trademark dispute peacefully. And even just in October the T-ara members performed at a Chuseok special concert so they're still together (well, 4 of them are still as T-ara while the other 2 are on solo activities, but they still support each other) :)

T-ara was really one of the biggest groups from 2nd-gen. They debuted in 2009 (same year as 2NE1) and already caught attention with their songs "T.T.L" and "Bo Peep Bo Peep", the latter giving them their 1st win in January 2010. They got their breakout hit "Roly-Poly" in 2011 which made them a household name and was one of the best-selling mini albums of the year, and they continued to release hits as "Cry Cry" and "Lovey-Dovey". They've been known for their "chameleon concept", in that they always change concepts with each comeback, as well as their catchy, hook-heavy dance songs ;0 Unfortunately in 2012 one of the members (Hwayoung) essentially caused a fake bullying scandal, where she feigned the severity of a leg injury and didn't attend practices, resulting in Hyomin indirectly calling her out in a tweet. But netizens misinterpreted it as the other members bullying Hwayoung, and even found fake "evidence" for it. The CEO kicked her from the group (for not attending practices) but never revealed the truth, and Hwayoung played "victim" for 5 years until an ex-staff member revealed that Hwayoung had actually been bullying another member. For those 5 years, T-ara lost confidence to perform in Korea, but they found success in Japan and, surprisingly, China. "Number 9" can be considered T-ara's "renaissance" because they returned to their debut lineup of 6 members, and on a live stage they even performed their debut song "Lie" alongside it. "Sugar Free" was originally released to lukewarm success in Korea, but over the years I've seen it often as reactors' first T-ara song due to its EDM sound. The 6 main members are: -Boram (N9: straight black hair and black/white dress, SF: long brown hair and white beanie) - the oldest member, known as the "fake maknae" due to her short height and youthful looks -Qri "Q-ree" (N9: red hair, SF: the one with blue in her hair) - second oldest, the current leader and known as the "lucky charm", since she has the 1st line in each of T-ara's most popular songs -Soyeon (N9: long black hair and sings chorus, SF: sings most of the chorus) - the main vocalist, her voice has a unique tone and it was well-known that she was originally in the lineup of SNSD, but withdrew not long before debut because she did not feel ready yet -Eunjung (N9: shortest hair, SF: short black hair) - the 1st leader, her specialties are high notes and rapping, and she was originally trained as an actress; currently active as an actress -Hyomin (N9: long hair and raps, SF: bleached hair) - often a lead vocalist or rapper, she's known to bring the "sexiness" to the group, and has been active as a soloist -Jiyeon (N9: shoulder-length brown hair, SF: long black hair with some rapping) - the maknae, visual/center/face of the group, she was also originally trained as an actress and has acted in many dramas, she's also a good friend of IU's

The one in the patterned red suit is hyomin and she was also the one rapping in the sunglasses T-ara was such a chic group. I was a big fan of Eunjung because she’s such a multi talent. Sings great, can rap, can dance, tall and fierce. Hyomin was just as much of an all rounder and so pretty.

I'm super duper happy to see your reaction!! This is the first reaction that I've watched and the reactor loves Hyomin like me xD. Hyomin is my ultimate bias and she is a real talent. I just can't find anything that she cannot do. She sings, she raps, she dances, she's gorgeous, she draws, she does pottery, she plays piano, she composed songs. Few of my top songs from her are Gold, Fake It, only we are unaware of our story and Overcome (she wrote this rap song with some help from her friends). She is the most underrated soloist. I wished more people knew about her.

yeah, Hyomin. She raps too. This group did it all. There were subunits too. N-4 was soooo good. Stear clear of any drama versions. Unless you are already a rabid fan those are just long. Hyomin did some solo work. Some really sexy stuff. My favorite though is Mango. It captures the true Hyomin. She's a goof. Actually she's everything. A real life Doctor Who.

No. 9 and Sugar Free are also my favorite. Well, they have too many good songs. In my opinion, Girls' Generation also has many good songs, but the rate is not so high. As for T-ara, not only the absolute number is high, but also the percentage. To put it in another way, they rarely had so-so songs, and none bad ones.

10:16 Actually they changed to choreo a while after the comeback they just made a couple stages with that choreo more simple, and they added more moves, specially to the chorus and intro. Personally i like the "updated" version way more, than the first one, or the second one, because the one from the MV isn't even the same hahaha, they never really performed exactly the same choreo from the MV, they performed comebakc stage with a really similar choreo but then upgraded the movement in it until nowadays.
