Lisa and Tboz were so young then, which is why I believe the message wasn’t meant to be cruel. They just didn’t know how to go about it. Make sure he takes his medicine regularly, stay hydrated (dehydration causes the cells the clump together in the smaller blood vessels which cuts off circulation and causes severe pain), heat packs help with dilating blood vessels which can assist with blood flow. Also if you look up Registered Nurse RN she has a video about how nurses take care of patients with sickle cell anemia. It should give you some additional information too.
