It could very well be Higgins Bhagavatar with a moustache. I searched for his photos; with that elongated chin -- handsome however -- it must be him; that's a splendid discover. I met him in 1984 when I stopped my puny 1977 Honda Civic to rescue the trio of KVN, MSAnantharaman and Trichur Narendran + the driver of the broken down Plymouyh Fury III; there was no room for the three of them plus the huge 2 mridangams as the other pice was standy-by. While we plotting two trips, in came suddenly out of the blue Higgins Bhagavatar himself taking long Sri KVN and Sri MSA with his and I transported Malayali Narendran and his buddies to the Rutgers Univ auditorium; thus began a life long friedship with with my family hosting hims for dinner many many times innour Long Island, NY house. Later that year in 1984 Sri Bhagavatar was tragically killed by a drunken driver as he walked his dog one early Connecticut morning, So sad. As I sat beside him in the front row he spoke in my ear that it was going to be Bhaktibicchamiyyave as soon as Sri MSA began his Sankarabharanam alapana nin his Parur style!
