Congratulations on completing the tour! There is always something that needs tinkering with on a T Bucket much to my wife's dismay. She does like riding in it. Lol

I hope Speedway compensated you or sponsored you. Because you just gave them a hell of a review on their products. From beginning the build to finishing the hot rod power tour. They received some great advertising from you and your build. Congratulations. I enjoyed watching the build

If he wasn't compensated or sponsored, somebody from the Marketing Department owes this fellow a call and/or a Check.

Believe it or not, I actually mentioned you doing this event to the parts counter guys the other day when I was in there. 😄 The next time I'm in I'll be sure to let them know you finished. 👍

They used to do a Long Hauler last day presentation with a photo and all and put it in the magazine. Now the magazine is published quarterly I'm not so sure of the coverage. Apparently since they were presenting plaques in a line and people hit the road things have changed a bit. The first year I did a Power Tour it was with a 283 chevy in the Vega. Subsequent Power Tours I had a 350 crate motor #099 ZZ430. I had a turbo 350 trans and then went to a 200R4 overdrive from a Grand National Buick. I had that overdrive gear making top end milage and I could get over 20 MPG with 430HP. You may want to do the same by swapping transmissions and getting a crate motor. Maybe get a sponsorship for the motor and be part of a GM display. I'd get a thicker radiator to help with cooling. Also rethink the bomber seats. Now the drive back to Florida begins. Looking forward to a repeat next year.

What video did you mount the body to the chassis? I wanted to see how it's done.

So I went back to all the videos and I can't seem to find out which one it actually was essentially I used the quarter drill bit then I used expanding rubber bungs
