Thank you . Very interesting .My grandfathers family lived in Ballybay but moved to South Armagh in the 1800`s .They farmed in Rowan and he moved to England early 1900 . Never to return .

Family legend has it that our O'Neill line descends from the O'Neills of the Fews. Our line was thrown out of Armagh in the 1640s and ended up near Foxford in Mayo, with our specific line eventually settling in Kilglass parish in North Sligo. I certainly need to go and explore South Armagh.
