Thank you for posting this video of Custom Z's buildings. As a result, I ordered and have built eleven buildings in N scale and will soon be build nine in T Gauge. The paper is good quality and the kits are easy to build. The results are impressive.

Can you do a video of your layout?

I will have some new stuff in the next couple of months.

I have watched this video many times. There are no instructions for lighting in this video; I am brainstorming some possibilities with various fiber optics. Random, sheathed, fiber optics could be applied right behind windows on the stock. The tip of the optics could peek out under the awnings to give a front view lighting scheme. I would suggest using match sticks to support and strengthen the structures.

I am sure you could get it working with lighting in the way you describe. The size of the structures are so small so you don't really need any extra support.

Hmm... Are there styrene sheets thin enough to be used as reinforcement for the buildings? Is it even worth the effort?
@skylinejunction3 жыл бұрын
Yes, there is thin styrene you can use but I don't think its worth it. The card-stock is fairly "thick" and of high quality and gives it all the stability it needs. I have built some of CustomZscales kits for Z scale and I did reinforce some of them a bit, but I used cardstock instead of styrene.
