I'd agree in saying that's an absolutely perfect demonstration of how NOT to start a Fordson!!!!! A,Thumb around the handle......Nooooo, you're going to get a broken thumb at best if it kicks back, broken arm more likely. B, They're not clockwork toys. So wind the handle like one? Let the impulse do the work for you.
