But they didn't manage the country well. Look at Morocco Tunisia and other African countries well built by their leaders. The last thing their ancestors see before their move to the west side is Ghana. Almost all African countries were having their people in Ghana. So Ghana is the freedom home for all diaspora.

Something I see no one has really addressed is that you can see the European admixture in the black Americans in comparison to the Ghanaians. It’s very noticeable in this video and others I’ve seen. In the USA you really don’t see it until you see black Americans on side of actual unmixed Africans you can see it in the skin colors and the facial features and sometimes the hair texture. I’m sure it’s no big deal, but it’s just an observation.
@IslenoGutierrez
@IslenoGutierrez 4 жыл бұрын
M. P. Thanks. To me it was obvious immediately upon seeing them side by side and I am knowledgeable about black Americans having European admixture. There was a racial type from the old days called griffe which is 3/4 black and 1/4 white. You can see it here in Webster’s dictionary: www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/griffe Black Americans are griffes and black Africans are blacks (fully Sub-Saharan African).

pogglethelesser 1977 Well I think it’s obvious to lots of people that view these videos with “black” Americans and black Africans side by side like some of these year of return Ghana videos. I just don’t think any “black” American wants to come out and say it because that is not something they view positively and black Africans are maybe just tying to be polite to not mention it. But I’m not “black” American or black African, so it was no problem for me to mention it...I mean it is the obvious 400 pound elephant in the room. The average European ancestry in “black” Americans is about 24%, but it can range from 10% European to 70% European depending on the person. As far as European percentages, the vast majority of black Americans range in the teens, all of the 20s and all of the 30s, which when computed as an average puts them around a 24% average. Here is a screenshot from a genetic study on black Americans, Latino Americans and white Americans and it shows “black” Americans to be an average of 73% African, 24% European and 0.8 Native American: ibb.co/h1ZrYPL Here is the study it came from: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4289685/

Let the tour guide do his work Mr. Rabbi ... Isaac Hayes breaking down means nothing but to himself and his ancestors , and so was the experience by Dionne Warwick as well , they aren’t special than any other Black person from the diaspora, simply put . After all , their experience was a personal one and hopefully a personal rediscovery and spiritual uplift - ment for their own sanity and happiness going forward . No need to be shoving those down every brother and sister that comes to the slave dungeons throats as if everyone who comes there is only from the USA but not from thither or elsewhere in the diaspora .

@@mbagideon6607i don't mean to sound stupid but what is diaspora? Do u know alot about African history if so I'd really like to hear , thank u for replying to my question 😊The reason I ask is because I am adopted and read the other day about Indians from India under British rule being taken to countries of African descent and used as slaves under the term "indentured " when Europe in 1848 (i think that was the year ) outlawed trans Atlantic slavery. Were the African ppl still being sold for labor or did this cease within n Africa thus leaving the slave traders to find another race to enslave but this time more accepted because "indentured" was put in front of it and some non fulfilled sparse paying contract signed ? . I find this part of history very interesting as I having had limited if any exposure to my culture especially in its relation to slavery . i would love to visit this place even if I am not directly descended it is such a place filled w a variants of energies & the stories it could tell omg smh , also i am learning all walks of society have had some type of slavery intertwined in their histories yet only certain ones are recognized in popularity only because of the level of travesty put upon them wich is sad because any form of owning a human being as another thinks themselves superior based on race or religion is pure bs .
