20 Tibetan Mastiffs? This guy is at least financially well-off. Tibetan Mastiff is one of the most expensive dog breeds in the world. Depending on a Tibetan Mastiff's quality, traits, bloodline, gender, marking and age, a Tibetan Mastiff can easily cost $10,000 USD, and that doesn't include associated costs since as ID tag and collar, ultrasound, X-rays, microchip, teeth cleaning, bed/tank/cage, etc. A Tibetan Mastiff needs sufficient food, frequent grooming and veterinary care. All that can cost as much as $1,500 USD per month. If this dog owner had 20 Tibetan Mastiffs and was able to provide them with adequate care and training, he must be well-off financially. (Or, was he a dog breeder?) The most expensive Tibetan Mastiff ever sold was a red, true-blooded Tibetan Mastiff. It was sold in 2011 for a whopping $1.5 million USD.
