Rama Raya was captured due to betrayal by gilani brothers, Muslim army general's of vijayanagara empire and Rama Raya was beheaded by Hussein Nizam shah Ahmednagar sultanate. This is a very negative expression of our culture. This is not at all agreeable. Our Gurus and Acharyas are being ridiculed by the guide. Also, he is saying Hampi was not looted much, those residents took their money and ran away, and there was hardly anything to loot!! He brilliantly hides the loot of the Sultans and talks as if the people of Hampi took their houses, valuables and ran away. He is saying Vishnu temples were only destroyed because Sri Vaishnavas were the target. Very very hard to believe. He is also ridiculing the Golden period of Hampi and saying they are all exaggerations. Basically, Hampi was just another place filled with selfish inhuman "Hindus" according to him. I cannot believe he disagreed on the fact that Krishnadevaraya was a great ruler, he talks like he was just an expansionist. Very negative!!!

I'm not sure if he is really a scholor on this subject or just another part time researcher. Remember, it was a highly decisive battle where a hugh part of the Vijayanagar Army switched sides during the battle. Imagine your own side start killing their own people. Even the brothers of Ramaraya were exhausted and injured during the battle. They simply didn't run away, they understood th gravity of the situation - loss of their supream leader and betryal by their own generals and soilders. It is ture that the royal family gathered whatevery they can and left the city and many people left with them. But it is a documented fact that the invaders looted the city and torched it as the city indeed was burning for several days. There are several research papers by Indian and Foregin authors that give a lot of evidence regarding the destruction of temples and henious crimes committed by the invaders. While we shouldn't be judging about the morality of the past events, but we cannot simply trivialize these things like the so called expert does in this video.

@@nagesha149 I'm an informed and educated audience who can ask meaningful questions. As far as my qualification goes, I have a Masters in Science and a Masters in Jounalism and Mass Communication. I have raised relevant points based on what I saw and heard in the video. One cannot claim to be an expert and speak like a part time researcher. As an expert he should have stuck to facts and assumptions rather than judging the convictions of Ramaraya's kins/relatives. His hesitation to condemn or even highlight the loot and destruction that took place after the war by the invading army either shows he is peddling propaganda by playing with selective facts or he is an immature with lots of degrees and experience. Hope you understand the problem here. If you are not able to then all the best - you keep your opinions and I'll have mine.
