Fabulous! As a boy I sang "The Song of Miriam" twice - once over 60 years ago as a treble aged 11 then again as a bass aged 18. It was a school choir just like this one.

This is a Professional Choir Not a school choir

This series in four sections is great! Thanks for posting it! Ludwig's singing is awesome! I also enjoy a another posting which is a contrast to this. It is just the section which begins here at 5:35. It is posted as: "Mirjam's Siegesgesang, with solo by Alexander Lischke". In that version both the soloist and the choir put a greater effort and passion into the music, which I enjoy! Also, the use of an an orchestra adds to that rendition.

Only one piano player escorting the boys choir, but what a pandorabox of sound! Choir and boy soprano are excellent; they don't need an orchestra!

I don´t like the "cruel" performance of the pianoplayer. Wonderful voices!
