Oh herrlich, ausgezeichnet, wunderbarer Solist! Ich finde in Google einen Ludwig Mittelhammer, der Klarinett und Saxo spielt und eine Kapelle dirigiert, ist es derselbe? Hm...

Ah, what a very interesting take, a treble boy soloist instead of a female soprano. There's something about the treble that I like better than the soloist, a quality in the boy's voice that isn't heard in a woman's. I sang this piece recently for the Oregon Bach Festival and had the privilege of working with a wonderful soloist, Maria Jette. This sounds good. Maybe it's the recording, but I think the treble singers were a little too loud though, they overpower the lower singers.
