There's onboard video of Axsom. There was only slight contact and he was already aimed down the track, in a wheelie before that slight contact happened.

Yep I agree. The driver couldn't control that wheelie so I don't think he was at fault. I've seen that happen allot of times. I'm glad Grant was OK and able to walk away.

First of all, there was on board video of Axsom, there was slight contact from Pursley. The contact happened after Axsom was already in a wheelie and pointing down the track, really wasn't that much contact or did very much to change Axsom direction. I say this as a racer and someone that is not a fan of Axsom at all. In my opinion, the main blame is on Axsom. He was the one that was aimed down the track and hit TMez, but a midget tends to turn pretty hard to the left when it's doing a wheelie. I don't exactly like the term, but it was a "racing deal" nothing intentional that Axsom did. Sure he's taken his fair share of people out in midgets and 600's, but this was not intentional. Also what TMez did was really wrong, he himself has taken plenty of people out like this and completely fenced people and act like it's no big deal. For instance Ryan Timms at Port City. Completely fenced the kid, then in an interview. All he had to say is it's Slide or Die.

Thats for the win, this was the first lap and Axsom should have lifted as soon as he saw the front end of the car go up. Also yes TMez should not have done that because all Axsom's fault

It's was racing yes but from tmez view he hit him down the back straight then tried to cut his nose off on corner exit. When your racing that close shit hits the fan fast and he more than likely didn't notice the other car pull the wheels off the ground as he was looking the the inside to see if he would be clear to throw a slider into t1
