The positioning of the modem makes such a difference. I moved mine around like 10 times and I couldn't get more then 100mb download. After months I did a little research. I downloaded one of the tower locater apps. I saw there was a tower in a different direction that I thought. I did not move the modem I kept it in the same spot and just turned the display of the modem to face that tower and now I don't get less then 350mb download speed. It blew my mind that the simple turn made such a huge difference. Before I turned it, it also said I had 4 bars and was only getting 80-100mb download

Great review. I just got the service today. So far I've been getting between 200-400 Mbps download. We'll see if it holds up.

How is the TMo service doing for you after 6 months?

Hello, I’ve had the service since last year and I have always had 360mbps download speeds and around 55mbps upload and a 12-18 ping, so no complaints with me.

No complaints so far for the nearly 3 months I have had it. The 5ghz fades in and out so everything is running on 2.4ghz and that's fast enough. No problem with gaming but I don't do online multiplayer.

I had Tmobile wifi for a few months..in the first 3 months I had to swap out 2 modems because they both just stopped working then the 3rd one wrk great for a while, than the past month it dropped from 150+ mbps to 0-25 mbps .CS just restarted the modem aftet i said ive done that many times solo and with other reps... I even swapped out the modem from silver to black... in store rep said theyve swapped MANY due to firmware update that was bad.... no change... then phone rep said its TOWER ISSUE WAIT 30 - 60 DAYS.... I finally dropped the home wifi after 1 year and phone service after 12 years.... im in LA / OC area in CA

Agree/Bad part about T Mobile Home Internet is the low priority/deprioritization.

When I first signed up for the home internet it was one of their promotional offers. I'm not sure if it's available to all new customers or was just the offer they had at that time and it's been replaced with another one. At that time they also gave you 3 months of KZbin Premium to try. KZbin TV is going up in price next month so once my $10 discount runs out I'll be going back to Sling even though it doesn't stream nearly as good (due to T-Mobile's deprioritization.) I do think they still offer the $15 a month Philo TV for one year promotion but Philo doesn't have nearly as many channels as Sling or KZbin.

@@aw7425 The good thing, at least in my experience, is there's pretty much never any outages with T-Mobile. It's just the possible slow downs every night that can bring eveything to a near halt depending on what you're tying to do but that will come down to the particular tower in your area.

Upgrade your gateway sir. The sagemcomm is much better, it has the N77 Band and provides better speeds.

Hello! I just got it two days ago! It's running well for me! 550 to 640 mbps. (In a country where they don't haven't released it yet.) Got the latest model. I saw that with the previous models, you could get the Data Stats (Usage) through the gateway IP. However, there is no such option on the new panel/menu. Have you read whether or not it's possible to see those numbers with the new gateway model? Thanks!

It's not ideal due to the moderate to strict NAT type. Speed-wise it's okay late at night or in the early day but if you want to game in the evening when the network is congested it can make online games unplayable.

T-Mobile has to share bandwidth with mobile phone users and probably gets congested.

One t mobile 2 boxes /gateway keep rebooting speeds good. Cancel kept xfinity Now xfinity my internet in and out call fix it coax outlet problem live apartment make new rewire guy dispatcher order in jake a whole come back out here b.s Went t mobile internet now gateway not rebooting my download speed 300-500. Upload 10-30 That 1 pm 7 pm etc testing out recording speed right now t mobile winning over

Straight talk 5g home internet is much better.

I wonder if you can use it with whatever network you have a sim card for? With the bring your own phone kit for Straight Talk they gave you a sim for each network and you could use whatever one you wanted. In this case you'd be able to use whatever one has the least traffic or nightly slow down for more consistent speeds.

After using MetroPCS since 2017 for my 4 phone lines I made the mistake of trying their Internet Deal. Free month of Internet is a joke. It costs you $55 for a (FREE) month. The sales person told me I would get my (FREE) month on the nest bill. LIE. Then they billed me again in 18 days (NOT IN A MONTH).... and cut my phone service off because of the additional bill which I wasn't expecting for another 12 days.. I was forced to pay again to keep my phone service. The REALITY OF THE INTERNET SPEED TRY 23 MEG on the OKOLA speed test, If your trying to watch a program on tv it will sputter and freeze. You TUBE CUTS OUT . If you have 2 devices they will not work at the same time... If you have 1 it might work. DON"T BELIEVE THE SALES HYPE.... THIS SERVICE IS CRAP / I AM CANCELING AS SOON AS THIS BILLING PERIOD EXPIRES. Then their is the customer service issue.. IF YOU CAN GET PAST THEIR COMPUTERIZED VOICE DEFLECTION SYSTEM. YOU CANNOT TALK TO AN AGENT. Even if you need one, It will just keep cycling you through and asking the same question over and over again.. BEYOND FRUSTRATING... ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE: BE WARNED... However you can go to the store and pay them $5 to help you as your only option. Sorry for the CAPS... Its just how I feel right now. Good Luck
