Борислав Сотиров she was singing to get father, who passed away. Her father had been the one encouraging her to chase her dreams, and she got very emotional towards the end, and barely got the lyrics out, because she missed her dad terribly. she is one of the best singers in China. she is real, not materialistic, and the most important thing about her is you can hardly see any scandals from her. I cry so badly every time I listen to this song, think about her success nowadays, and she can't have her father by her side to share....it's painful for anyone to lose their loved ones...I'm sure Wikipedia tells you more about her, her name is Weiwei Tan. Love her forever! !

Yes indeed. She rearranged the music and lyrics of this song in this performance in memory of her father who had passed away. The male singers in this performance are actually a Mongolian band called Hang Gai. Their rendition of this song imo is very good too, and was sung in Mongolian.

The song is expressing very deep sadness. I think you will see she is crying if you can read Chinese well.

err.... since a foreigner comments on a chinese song, every one's getting a little excited... However, the melody is a native Mongoian folk song, and the chinese lyrics is an adaption composed by a respectful art movie director. The singer used the skills consist of native singing teqniques from Mongolian and Tibets. That's what makes this performance a perfect world music classic.
i dont know chinese, but it seems like a nice version of the song. Also the gutarist and other mongolian players of national instruments seemed so close. For the singer is just great! Her vioce is born. Wanna send them virtual hug from Mongolia❤
