I think this piece, "Ruyi Niang" 《如意娘》, comes from the "Wuxian Pipa Scores" 《五弦琴谱》 or 《五弦谱》. The "Wuxian Pipa Scores" (Wuxian Qin Pu 《五弦琴谱》 or "Wuxian Pu" 《五弦谱》; usually called "Gogen Fu" 《五絃譜》 or "Gogen Kinfu" 《五絃琴譜》 in Japanese), preserved in the Yōmei Bunko in Kyoto, Japan, comprise 28 pieces believed to be of Tang Chinese origin, in tablature for the 5-string (wuxian) pipa. The manuscript itself simply bears the title 《五絃》 (Wuxian/Gogen). Individual pieces in the collection bear the dates 773 and 842 and the music is believed to be of Tang Chinese origin, though the manuscript, which was probably copied in the 11th century, appears to be in a Japanese hand.
