So many Japanese communists died in WWII, fighting alongside the Chinese or aiding them in secret. They were the last generation in Japan with any real backbone left. Remember Comrade Ida Sukeo.

@@holdenennis While they are starting to develop anti-capitalist views, they are moving towards social democracy and are still wary of becoming outright communists and anarchists due to capitalist propaganda. But hey, look on the bright side. It's still better than maintaining faith in liberal and conservative parties who have no interest in making actual change. All we have to do is radicalize them more, even if it means going slow.

@@holdenennis That's the problem, their representation being so open is a result of the fact that the Japanese Communist Party betrayed a lot of what really makes Socialism what it is. Its leadership is commonly described by Marxist-Leninist groups as being essentially Social Democratic

@@yabinoe1080 Indeed, the struggle of the revolution and the resistance against the reaction never ends, thus we shall never let the suffering of our fallen comrades be in vain. We shall keep educating ourselves about the cause, we shall keep organizing ourselves to survive the struggle, we shall keep agitating against the corrupt system, but most important of all, we shall wake up our revolutionary spirits at once, otherwise no end but death awaits us.

I know you've already figured it out, but for anyone else who's confused, 「ぬ」 is a literary way to indicate the completion of an action. It's what changes the phrase from "Comrades Fall" to "Comrades Have Fallen".
