So beautiful, fascinating and harmonious! It's a beautiful skill in a beautiful country! The part where he was sitting through the night watching his kiln in peace struck a chord with me. Such peace. Harmony. How wonderful. The harmony among them and the sense of community is wonderful to see. It's a good life :) +The Takeshoot Thank you very much for uploading this video. Please keep up the good work. :)

His name is Kei Satou and his partner is Megumi Morino. Google "satoukei" for their home page Sue Ware (su-e-ki 須恵器) is referenced in the video. You might want to check it up on Wikipedia as well. Hope this would help.

Seeing those 2 beautiful plates @13:11 make me want to have a go myself. It fascinates me how the firing of all the ware is a collective experience, the pots affect each other so to speak, is that correct? (I am a wood carver but am inexplicably drawn to clay the last year or so, but havent a clue where to begin)

(I used on line traslator)
