Clearly there aren't many people here who are metal vocalists, or many who know how taxing it is to maintain pitch while under hot lights, playing difficult riffs, working the crowd and with the sound people not (obviously) lending your monitors studio sound while you have to sing intricate melodies. With all due respect to Tyr as musicians,in this case they just don't know what they are sining about. This song is the result of people travelling and getting bored of hearning the usual comments from all sides, but if you are from east and south Europe the story is different, knowing people and family members who never came home, having seen you grandparents cry each time the memories came back, is a completely different and yet present story. Without mentioning the huge neo-nazi movemnet that is polluting humanity from Germany, Scandinavia and even south Europe now! S@t Hitler has won in so many ways that even the media continue to perpetuate blonde beauty as the one ideal that surpasses other races. Metal crowds are mainly white in Europe when in reality loads of us love it, but(like me) many times scared even to go to a concert.

I echo the previous replies: The first verse is about how modern Germans (or "white" people) shouldn't feel like they have to carry the burden of something in the nation's past, while the second verse is just a flat-out condemnation of modern neo-Nazis ("make sure you count me out of the ranks of you inbred morons"). If I remember correctly, the song was also written in response to a German journalist who seemed to suggest that Týr's use of Viking imagery suggests that they may be sympathetic towards Nazis or something - the first verse can be seen as a reasoned response to him and the second verse as a direct denunciation of Nazi ideology. Also, I haven't seen anything to indicate that Heri is sympathetic toward neo-Nazis, fascists, and other inbred morons, and this song seems to be a case against the idea that he is.
