Thank you! I bought the IK Multimedia Total Studio 4 MAX and it has changed my life. Ive never really had enough extra money to spend on plugins so I've always used stock plugins. I decided it was time and videos like this helped me take that plunge. It's literally like going from a scooter to a hog. Wow, what a difference. The amount of amazing plugins you get for $200 is a no brainer.

For those thinking of investing in the MAX version, some of the plugins in the video are not part of T-Racks MAX, the Leslie and Tape machines are bought separately...

I got the T Racks 5 SE on a ridiculous anniversary sale. The SE comes with some very basic modules and my biggest gripe is I wish they're most basic bundle came with atleast one reverb and one channel strip, like they should of made just a basic classic channel strip. But for the price The One plugin alone was worth it. Also the newest Dyna Mu sounds very good and became one of my go to bus compressors although they're classic compressor is underrated. Also EQualize and Master Match are extremely efficient products. Along with those i got free at some point from them theyrw White 2a, Black 76, Quad Opto, and 670 and they're all great processors. They're White 2A and Black 76 and 670 all have clear vibes to them.

If you own a bundle without reverbs you can buy additional modules online at the IK Multimedia Custom Shop. The new Sunset Sound Studio Reverb sounds great!

Agreed man. I love how utilitarian and complete it is with enough vintage and digital options to suit your needs. If they added a few more channel strips they'd give Alot of companies a real problem

Totally agree on the whole download manager issue. I purchased ST 4 Max received it Wednesday midday. I'm writing this friday morning and I completed everything last evening. Definitely a full day.

How are the plugins compared to what Softube and Plugin Alliance have? They have been my main tools lately, but thinking about getting T-Racks too for variation. The Tonex is closer to real amps than most other guitar plugins. Are they on the same level on the T-Rack plugins?

I have used the first T Racks that was out like 20 years ago and it had a lot of presets like Gentle Mater, Brickwall 1 or 2 , FM master and a whole bunch of others that you could tweak. I usually just used the preset as it was cause I had no idea what the hell I was doing after adjusting the EQ and other stuff .With all these choices, I would not be able to have enough skill to get a good outcome. I'd like some kind of mastering preset that does the job for someone like me who isn't good at using all this stuff together and getting a good result.

Do you also master in Studio One? I am still reading the manual to the T-Racks bundle, so far I am liking what I am seeing. So far they don’t work as well in S1v5 so I will have to use version 4 for now until Presonus send out an update.

I think it did... I'll have to check. I did get it as part of a whole Xmas promotion so that may have been part of it, I'm not sure.

wanted to get the Studio 2 max bundle and it include this as well. Think for the money you can pick this bundle up for, You can't really complain. When it working out for me just say 94 tools, each tool talking 2 + dollars each basically, When you get the 75% off sales. Not being funny but actually look at the tools you get in that bundle? Outrageous selection, MODO Bass I wanted that ages agothat also included, Sampletank, Syntroniks, everything... That in my opinion is when you take advantage of buying tools... No excuses at them prices no way...

It is always refreshing watching your videos. You do a great job of covering everything. Quick question do you use Consol one as much as you did when you first bought it? I find myself not reaching for it that often because some plug-ins are awesome and I like the visual part of it

Hey, thanks, appreciate the kind words! I still use Console One on every track of every project I mix. It's invaluable to me.

I've never done mastering before, but T-RackS 5 made a huge difference in an album I recorded with my best friend. Watching this video and others has really been great as far as putting the final touches on our recordings. I'm a huge fan of IK Multimedia software. I've been using their AmpliTube 4 VSX Ampeg bass amp software for several years and it's great to have this mastering software as well.

Great review. If anything, T-Racks have _too_ many different EQ's and Compressors to choose from. If you're someone who doesn't know different types and models of EQ and Compression from your own ass, and still is wrapping your head around how LPF, HPF, Q, Attack, Release etc works it can be quite overbearing lol. For those people I would recommend just getting started experimenting with the classic modules, and maybe some of the visual spectrum ones, to get started for mixing, and just using the T-Racks One for mastering. Learn to use those well and you're pretty much set to go for your home-recording needs. Then you can move on to the afficionado stuff hehehe...

for those people I DEFINITELY recommend use your DAW's plugins! They are excellent. You need nothing more. After 2 years come back.

Also i see no reason and a huge wasted opportunity for T Racks not to be multi track so it can be used for Stem Mastering and mixing
