Mine too. I'd give anything to see a t-rex. But I don't believe backwards time travel is possible. So it'll never be seen. We'll never really know what dinosaurs looked like, no matter how much we study. And I've read there just isn't any genetic material to recreate them with, that it just isn't feasible.

Since this trailer shows T. Rex, Edmontosaurus, Triceratops, Anzu & Quetzalcoatlus, I hope the movie itself also shows Ankylosaurus, Ornithomimus, Pachycephalosaurus, Thescelosaurus, Dakotaraptor (I fully believe it’s a valid genus despite the lack of fossil material for it) & Alamosaurus in case the movie takes us further South or West out of Hell Creek to give us a good scope of the diverse kinds of animals that T. Rex encountered, and it’d be nice to know an official release date.

To hell with t-rex, frikin Champsosaurus finally making its debut! For a well understood genus, described all the way back in 1876, which lived in what is likely the most commonly depicted prehistoric ecosystem going, its crazy that this is possibly the first time its being shown in media beyond static paleoart. Good for Champsosaurus and its fellow Choristodere brethren.

I would say Prehistoric Planet for me personally, although I feel like this version is still pretty great too, I’d have to watch the movie itself to get a better idea of how I feel about it, from some camera angles the proportions look good but occasionally the proportions can look a little off for some reason, I feel like the neck in some angles make it look too fat, most notably at 1:33 is when the neck looks too fat, although at the same time if this appearance turned out to be true to life I probably wouldn’t feel as off about it because at least then I would know it probably had a fat neck for a reason. Although I will say that I like the Triceratops model for this version more than the Prehistoric Planet version actually, which is among the only dinosaurs where I can say I like more than the Prehistoric Planet version, I feel like it represents Triceratops Prorsus well with the longer horns covered in keratin that are mostly straight but curve slightly upwards at the end, it’s always been my favorite way that the appearance of Triceratops Prorsus is depicted in paleo media.

That definitely should not be your bar for quality The humans are there to ground us and show us the MASSIVE amounts of effort and work that is put into the restorations you see on-screen. While the Planet Earth nature-doc style is definitely more entertaining, it isnt always the best for every message
