I like the message at the end because it is true, it doesn't matter who comes out as the winner both of them would succumb to their wounds. In reality if prehistoric plant t rex meet PD Spino both of them would most likely avoid each other. Amazing edit I loved it keep up the fantastic work.

Yeah a lot of ppl forget that dinos didn't have ultra fast healing + there was no way to stop bleeding, sometimes with certain light wounds bleeding stops on its own but injuries caused by giant beast tend to be bone shattering and meat slicing

Its true, they'd throw some big hits and then retreat after realizing their opponent's power. Those slaps from the spinosaurus with those massive claws are not going to be very friendly to the T. Rex's face, and that massive bite from the T. Rex, especially if it got to the Spinosaurus' long and obvious neck, will be fatal. This is not a fight that either of them can win. Spino will likely bleed out, and T. Rex more than likely took a slash to the face, which could've gotten its eye, or weak flaps of skin, and considering the Rex's feeding and general survival habits, that wound will DEFINITELY get infected if it doesn't bleed out first.

I study spinosaurus and I have to say, if these two came to blows, bye bye spino. Spinosaurus is built for tackling massive fish and occasionally pterosaurs and other dinosaurs. Tyrannosaurus is built to tackle massive armoured prey such as ceratopsians, ankylosaurs and occasionally hadrosaurs. However realistically spinosaurus would win in a confrontation as if it’s not life or death, animals would usually square up and either go off of whose larger or who’s more intimidating. And due to the length and height of spinosaurus combined with their sail and tail, means that it would probably win with intimidation.

@@DreadEnderhe fish that spinosaurus might've hunted weren't nothing to scoff at either. Take a look at Mawsonia, a fish that could potentially grow up to 4 meters (or 13 feet) long. Spinosaurus would've needed some pretty serious arm power to be able to successfully capture/subdue this huge coelacanthid. Don't even get me started on Onchopristis, a sawfish that could reach an estimated 5-6 meters (16-19 feet). Please note that I am not saying Tyrannosaurus wouldn't win, as it most certainly would. However it would most certainly take some pretty serious injuries in the process of trying to subdue the Spinosaurus.

@@IdentityCrisis411 yeah that’s what I mean, if it was a fight to the death tyrannosaurus would most likely get the kill but would probably succumb to blood loss, infection or other causes afterwards due to the confrontation. Thats why most predators don’t fight unless necessary as a fight could lead to injury or death even if your victory is assured. And one of the largest reasons for tyrannosaurus’ victory is it’s bite force, a 5-6 ton bite force is deadly, however although much weaker the 2-3 ton bite force of spinosaurus would have been more than enough to crush bone or a trachea. And yeah forget everything is larger in Texas, everything is supersized in the Kem Kem group! Although more recent estimates place onchopristis at no more than 4.25 metres long, it’s still massive! However I have a problem with this estimate as a few specimens of the rostrum of onchopristis exceed 2m and the average rostrum to body ratio for a sawfish or sawskate is 1:3.27 then with some more study and peer review, a 6m onchopristis could be back on the table!

@@amirram8308rex would take the spino out. Spino is slow and definitely not as agile as the rex. Research shows that the rex was extremely smart and was very explosive and agile. He could turn on a dime. Rex arent fast runners but spinos arent either. Plus their jaws and conical teeth wouldnt be enough to hurt the rex. The claws could do some damage if the spino could avoid getting snatched by the rex but i think 95% of the time the rex will take down the spino. Trex bite force along with its massive tank structure would surely be too much.

Probably the T.rex would win, the spinosaurus did not have a strong enough jaw to defeat a T.rex because its jaw was for fishing and not preying on other dinosaurs, even if it is big

It's an easily misunderstood battle. They most likely would never meet at all since both lived in different continents separated by a vast sea. Though if they did fight, the T Rex would have a higher chance of winning, literally just because of the bite force it wields

Spinosaurus is most likely six or eight tons, while the tyrannosaurus holds the crown for the largest land carnivore, at 10.6 tons. It's not much compared to the 84 tons of sauropods but it is a giant compared to others theropods.

Highly unlikely they'd ever meet but I love the end result because it's the absolute truth. A lot of these comments talk about bite force. Well in modern times we have a creature known as The Jaguar. It has a frightening bite force that allows it to easily kill Crocodiles (literally crushing their skull). Which in this kind of a fight, the T-Rex would have. However... The Spinosaurus has claws and those arms give it range range and speed. One creature that even Jaguars avoid... The Anteater. Yes, they can KILL the Anteater but they avoid them because the claws of an Anteater are like scalpels (remember those claws cut through termite mounds as if they are paper). 1 direct blow = A horrifically painful and bloody wound that the Jaguar will not recover from. 1 indirect blow = A lifelong injury that the Jaguar will never recover from. (Note: Anteaters in captivity have literally dismembered their Human handlers.) Why bring this up? Cause effectively, the Spinosaurus's claws would be of similar effect. If both creatures were locked into say a cave or trapped in a canyon with no escape, The T-Rex would most likely kill the Spinosaurus in terms of trading blows. However, the T-Rex would be so wounded that it would bleed out and suffer a slow and agonizing death afterward. Glad to see a video acknowledge that these creatures would both die. In reality... Boring as it is, the creatures would size each other up and simply back off and look for another meal.

T-rex would likely win in a fight to the death but saying that it shreds is a bit exaggerated, spinosaurus was an incredibly large animal being the biggest carnivorous dinosaur ever. If Spinosaurus was designed to be a large predator like T-rex there's no doubt in my mind that it would be the most physically capable dinosaur but that is simply not the case Still Spinosaurus would have possessed a bite force that surpass most theropods big and small, as well as the large claws that it's infamous for Ultimately I would say that yes in a fight t-rex would best spinosaurus but spino could still put up a fight and would be one of the most formidable opponents a t-rex could encounter

well, if there WAS a scenario where they were to be in eachother's habitat, it'd be unlikely that they fought, as the spinosaur mostly ate aquatic animals, and tyrannosaurus ate MEAT meat, so they wouldn't have to compete with eachother for food, unless one of them was threatening the other's offspring, which, yet again, would just be dumb, cause they already have their own food resources, and they already have respective territories. Also, the tyrannosaurus rex lived in north america, and the spinosaur lived in africa near morroco and egypt, and they both lived in extremely different time periods, so it'd basically be impossible for them to actually meet unless we decide to pull a JP3.

Still at the end of the day rex would overpower spino due to rex being much more tankier and having much more powerful bite force. The rex irl wouldn't lose tbh but it would have gotten afew scratches and remember, The spino wasn't alot bigger. It basically only the spine making it larger and also the spine was a HUGE weak point. The rex could easily bump the spino over therefore breaking its spine potentially breaking its back and then the rex can finish it off. And spino fans just remember if you say "what if the spino bumps the rex over?" Even though it could bump the rex over, the spinos jaw wouldn't be capable of finishing the rex off without breaking due to how tough the rexes hide was. Rex at the end of the day wins 100 to 1

All of you need to stop treating this like a video game, weight matters above almost everything, it is extremely effective in battles, Trex weighed more, had much more powerful bite (so much so that one bite and it's over). Spinosaurus is a fisher, this long debated topic is not a fight nor is it fair, Trex edges it out in almost every category. Trex was made to fight other Tyrannosaurs, and heavily armoured herbivores and win, Trex wins hands down. By the way, this is a good edit with lots of relevant information, yes in most battles they would come out with injuries, although dinosaurs are much more resilient to injuries that would kill many modern creature, so there is a fair chance that Trex (I'm sorry I just can't picture a scenario where Spinosaurus can regularly win and come out unscathed) could come out this battle with minimal injuries.

Accurate T-Rex versus accurate Spino Rex wins

This fight goes either two ways 1. T. rex gets in a devastating bite and ends the fight right then and there 2. Spinosaurus bitchslaps Trex around with its giant claws until Trex retreats and presumably dies from its injuries or infection later on Either way, it’s not going be a Jurassic Park 3 kind of battle

If you're saying beating up a carcharodontosaurus is impressive enough to make Spinosaurus get feats then i have nothing to say on that tyrannosaurus taking down a fully grown triceratops horridus which weights 4 tons more than the biggest carcharodontosaurus specimen

I just figured out not long ago that if a Spinosaurus tried to get in a fight with a T rex it’s jaw would break if it tried to take a bite out of the T rex

Top 3 dino docs 3.Walking with Dinosaurs Its a classic, and shaped the perspective of people on dinosaurs 2. Planet Dinosaur Its nostalgic for me considering it's was my first dino doc I watched. 1.Prehistoric Planet It has the most accurate designs and was more based on being a dino doc than anything. And also didn't have that many inaccuracies(Carno skin, Tail flukes)

I think spino wins 55% of the time in my opinion and FIRE EDIT🔥🔥🔥. it didn’t cause spinos life, starvation did bc the climate changed to fast and while spino couldn’t.

nice edit, but actually trex is more agile than spino so every speed goes to trex, and in land trex wins low-mid diff, but in water spino wins high diff coz as they showed trex also can swim as well but spino has more experience in water

*Here is what i think how this fight will happen:* while searching for a new territory to live because for some reason the Spino has been taken away from his original era and territory, the Spinosaurus arrive at a river that is in the Rex's territory. With his superior sense of smell, it didn't take long for the Rex to notice the Spino presence, knowing there is another apex predator that rival his size in his territory, the Rex quickly make his way to the river to look for the Spino and try to chase it off. When the two beast meet, at first the Rex will try to rear up it body and bellowing to look bigger to intimidate the Spino, the Spino respond the intimation by also rear it body up, show it sail to make it look bigger and bellow at the Rex. After showing their sizes to intimidating each other for a while and none of them back down, they decide to get into a fight for territory, the Rex charge first and headbutt the Spino, the Spino respond with a quick bite to the neck, but because the Spino's isn't that strong so the Rex quickly break free and back down for a bit, knowing that the opponent won't back down that easily, the Rex rush in and bite the Spino in the neck, feeling the strong bite force of the Rex that are pressing down it throat, the Spino use it claws to slash the Rex in the face and neck a multiple times as an attempt to break free. Being injured, the Rex back down and the the two beasts pause for a brief moment to catch their breath, being a fairly intelligent animal, the Rexy acknowledge that the it would be very dangerous to face the Spino head to head because it could use it powerful claws to injured him, so the Rex run to side and use it bulky body and headbutt the Spino again to stunt it for a few seconds, then the Rex bite down the Spino sail, heavily injured the opponent . After struggling for a while the Spino manage to break free, got a part of it sail being broken because of the Rex bite, knowing that this is will not end will it keep fighting so the Spino retreat and go back to the river, swim far away from the Rex, the Rex then give a Victory roar (or another intimidate roar) and then head back to the forest. But the victory doesn’t last long and his fate has been sealed as the injuries from the Spino claws on his face and neck are too severe so a few hours later he died due to blood lost. The Spino fate is better for a bit but it still a bad ending for the beast as his injuries on the neck and sail, especially the sail has been effected, plus with a part of his spine has been broken by the Rex so after a few days since the fight, it collapse and never get back on it feet. Despite the Rex has won the fight but both of them has lost in the survival as both of them died after the fight.

Yeah, Spino succumbs immediately the T-Rex succumbs several years later due to injuries it sustained from the many rounds it went with the clock. It's a shame that these 2 didn't live side side then we'd have a great reason for why we know so much about 1 and why we can barely find any fossils of the other.
