Sports Management companies or Big production houses take a cut from all celebrities they sign contract with. For example: Mascarenhas signed Sachin for whopping Rs 100 crores in 2001. They are able to make money on side on inauguration coz of the channel. Similarly if Prithviraj has signed a contract with a media house, they get most of the money of his works where as he gets paid yearly contractual salary regardless of his performance. Its the same across the world, even for Messi and Ronaldo!!! In the video, couple has clearly stated about writing a contract, which they did not abide to.
