To summarize: 0:00 / 6:48 - Introduction 0:32 / 6:48 - Get a grid image 1:01 / 6:48 - Convert to smart object 1:24 / 6:48 - Ctrl +T = Transform 1:45 / 6:48 - Right Click > Warp 2:38 / 6:48 - Double Click On Smart Object (brings it up in separate window) 2:55 / 6:48 - Add shadow - Copy Design 4:12 / 6:48 - Add shadow - Select around the t-shirt layer 4:27 / 6:48 - Add shadow - Copy and Paste the model layer 4:40 / 6:48 - Add shadow - Image > Adjustments > Desaturate 4:44 / 6:48 - Add shadow - Image > Adjustments > Curve 4:50 / 6:48 - Add shadow - Bring to a white 5:01 / 6:48 - Add shadow - bring layer to "Multiply" 5:18 / 6:48 - Add shadow - Click on shadow layer and create mask 6:01 / 6:48 - Changing the mask 6:22 / 6:48 - Conclusion

Thanks for such a great video. I can't quite figure that last step out. To make the mask do you cmd+click on the layer then click the mask icon? I clicked the mask icon with the t shirt layer selected but nothing's changing.. :/

How do you do this in Affinity Photo? All of your files are technically automatically smart objects with Affinity, so its confusing. Hmu if you know!
