T-shirt quilt: Step #1 prepping shirts

Mine was a collage style. All my blocks were cut in 4” increments. I did design it on graph paper and colored pencils.

I'm excited about this project! My son died in 2017 from a bowel obstruction that turned into septic shock and multiple organ failure. He left behind many tshirts that I have saved and this is perfect for me to put those to use. I'm concerned about quilting such a big quilt tho, can you talk about quilt as you go for one option? I'm not sure how I would go about that. thanks!! great video!

Oh Kim! I am so sorry for your loss! I totally believe in the healing powers of sewing and I hope this helps! I will definitely talk through the quilting process as well! I do them all on my small machine- nothing fancy!

I use Pellon P44F I get it when it is 50% off and that makes it 50 cents a yard
