Would love to se a short scale SG Thinline with a Firebird at the neck and a Wide Range at the brigde with one of them fancy tailpieces like on Archtop guitars but with a regular Les Paul bridge. Thanks for making these wonderful instruments.

I always enjoy your videos when you play the Tele with the Charlie Christian pick up in the neck. That guitar has a smooth sound from initial pick attack through the sustained note. I like this Ribbecke guitar too but the note attack sounds more percussive. Certainly a tone more compatible with blues tunes. But for me the percussive initial note attack becomes ear fatiguing after a few minutes. I suppose a compressor pedal in front of the amp would smooth out the pick attack.

Very clean and punchy neck pickup. Bridge pickup has a bit of distortion.Beautiful wood. I agree with others here that the headstock doesn’t look like it fits on the guitar. Tom is a master, so I’m sure between Tom and Tim, it will get well sorted.

I love your playing and instruction Tim. I've gotten a lot out of your Truefire and youtube lessons. Thank you! I've got a favor to ask of you...Though I love the old standards and do study them, there are many I'm not familiar with. There's nothing more frustrating than watching a video of someone playing a song that you'd like to learn, but the name of the tune is never mentioned. If you could please try and include the names of the songs you play. (I think you usually do, but you sometimes miss it.) Second is backing tracks. It's much appreciated when you provide a link to the backing track, but if you can't do that if you could post the name of the backing track with info of where to find it. Thanks so much Tim.

Not trying to be negative. The guitar looks & sounds great. I only would like to be able to play guitar a lot better than I do. At 75 years old & with only a Fender Roadworn (2010). I admire both the guitar, the builder & the talent of Time Lerch.

Probably conditioning from seeing nothing but the fender style headstock on every tele copy over the last 70 years. I think it looks fine. Guitarists are a strange breed in how they cling to the past. Three main guitar styles get repeated endlessly with the slightest tweaks, and every ad has to say warm vintage tone.

To be pedantic, the telecaster had a paddle-style/snakehead headstock before it had the foot-style. :)

Scale length is 25.5. the nut is 1 11/16.
