TÆT - In Circles (repatch)

Just restored the patch that was originally created about two years ago. It was really interesting, but I couldn’t avoid changes and additions. This is the first time I use my Takamine guitar with the pure electronic setup.

What a sad state of music we are living in. Disposable preset music garbage gets all the rage while true masters of their craft are unnoticed for years. I want to congratulate you for your persistance over last few years and really hope the sucess you deserve will eventually come! Keep it up!

Sometimes! Video production, of which animation is only part, and an occasional album (Andrew R Bird). I'm finding rotoscoping very relaxing today… wish it took longer 😂. I still need to know how you made a a patch in 5/8 you genius (unless I dreamed it).

Great! I believe it’s still the most impressive animation technique 🎥. I think the patch is a kind of polyrhythmic, I’m working on multitrack version of it now for release and it’s easy to find yourself in a different time signatures there. Initially it was all intuitively 🎛🖤

There is that bit in the matix film, where they jam a cord in the back of Keanu Reaves' head and he says "I know Kung-Fu". If they could jam that cord in my head, I'd wanna come out knowing how to do this. Can't patch this into my head somehow can you? So so so good - dear god. That soft remourseful guitar gently drifting over the top of it all - perfection. Love the standalone Pulsar stuff so much - but the guitar adds a different dimension to it. Would love to see more when/if you have the time. Real darkside vibe to it.
