What really hits me about this piece is WHY this sounds so much like it could be in a modern Kirby game. Most fanmade tracks have very generic, "epic" approaches to final boss music. But in reality the last few modern Kirby games have had unique, nontraditional final boss music, a trend that this track would continue. You really know your stuff, dude.

This is it. Zero has managed to consume everything in existence and become the Contra void, but yet it still wants more. But what does it possibly need in its life? Power? Knowledge? Not even it knows. Perhaps it what it really needs is... a friend to share it all with? Can Kirby manage to convince Zero that there is more to life than just devouring everything? Seeing as Star Allies drew so many comparisons to Kirby, Zero, Dark Matter and the Master Crown all being related to a being known as Void it seems so fitting that this incarnation of Zero would take the form of a Black Hole. Kirby is such a stupefyingly weird franchise when you take a look at the lore and implications between the lines. This is a game which basically leaves the villains only 5% or 10% of the games to explain their motives or heck most times are left just 'generic evil monsters who just want to be dark and beat light' and yet have so many little notches of lore and detail to make them feel gigantic. Great work!

@@chinyereudeh3405 My theory for why HAL can never truely bring back Zero is because bringing him back would make the ESRB force the game with a E-10+ rating? Why? Well, one of Zero's main hallmarks is the fact he, well, shoots blood. If the rating system really put 'Animated Blood' on the games rating. I feel it would ruin the suprirse. Besides. Void kinda makes it sound like not only is it the birth of both Zero and Kirby, but the japanese text implies that its pretty much the origin of life. Like I said before. The Lore dumps go from 'Kirby enjoys apples' to 'Did you know Haltmann is a grieving dad, oh also Sectonia got corrupted by the Amazing Mirror, Santa isn't real and Jesus didn't happen'.

@@DoodleWill yea basically. I'm really enjoying what they did with Void, now knowing about his shining form and him basically being the origin of creation. I have to see what they have in store with Void, if they ever decide to draw more connections. Considering Kirby might be a rebirth or incarnation of Void's form (more direct that everyone else that...well, exists) I wonder what else they'll do with Kirby himself and how he was originated. Our only answer right now is Rainbow Curse, as Kirby simply came flying into Dreamland on the spring breeze, coincidentally on the day in which the Dreamlanders found they had no food. It'd be interesting to also find out just how Void itself works. Anyways, yeah, Zero would get hit hard for his bleeding. It would completely ruin that surprise of something like this in a kids game. Maybe HAL might mask it by making Zero a difficult boss to get to (like a secrey boss like Gryll that requires to complete challenging objectives)but I heavily doubt that

What I truly love about this track is, that it conveys a paradox perfectly. On the one hand side you have the fading, echoing sounds, which i suppose resemble the void/nothingness that this being is or that it is trying to cause. On the other hand side we have those energetic drums and the up-beat, which tells us this is a battle that is about to decide everything, or ALL if you will. Gotta love the contradiction here.

With Zero3's defeat, it seemed the journey was finally coming to an end, and then, the gigantic black sun explodes into a rapidly growing black hole that swallows up Kirby and his friends. When everyone came to, they all find themselves in an unfamiliar dimension, and with no leads, wander aimlessly through what would be a collective ruin of the planets they've been to before Zero3. Upon reaching the lone Tree of Life, they find a weakened Forestia Gaia clinging to what life she has left, and then, up in the blackless light sky, an eye the size of a galaxy opens up. "I have become the end of all and all of the beginning. The dreams, love, and happiness that you all cling to so dearly, I shall consume them as I swallow everything, from this frail tree girl who sustained life everywhere to the very fabric of reality. I am everything and also nothing, and I shall bring the one absolute fate, for I am the void, The Anti-Singularity, I am The Zero." Determined and filled with triumph as always, Kirby rides off to the true final battle alone, while his friends care for Forestia. The Alumina Bow glows brilliantly as it's filled with power from an unknown being, evolving into a bow that will slay The Zero. ~Enter, The Contra Void~ Alright, with that scenario that totally wasn't inspired by your previous works out of the way, This. Remake. Blew me out of the water! Calm, yet the drum n bass beat give it that sense of urgency, and goodness, you really extended this baby! Love the additional section you made. Absolutely brilliant work, man! ==Edit== ... I did not notice you had a scenario already in the bottom of the description, silly me, guess I better go through the entirety of your descriptions from now on! XD This does spark an idea on a character I wanted to do something Kirby related for!

I just love the concept of Zero here. It reminds me of an ongoing Kirby fanfiction that places Zero as the main villain called Kirby and the Legendary Crystal Princess: An RPG Tale. In short, what started off as the usual Mario plot and find all the 7 to 14 key items escalated into finding pieces of a secret tied to Dark Matter from a bloody incident involving an entire galaxy. And Zero was responsible for it all. His reasons in that story are "straight forward" but vague and uncertain as the story progresses; also, he manages to turn everyone on Popstar into humans- it makes sense later on for the time being. The method- bizarre and unordinary. To me, when I hear Zero in the story, just thinking about his final form makes me think of this video. Whoever's idea it may be when it comes to this topic, I think your tracks are the perfect fit! Keep it up, man! Also, there's a reupload of the same story by the same author for various reasons, but the title added one change to it. And guess what it's called? Re: Zero. Who knows? Maybe it's more than just a little addition to the title. Either way, I think you should definitely check it out!

So ive been brainstorming attacks for this guy. 1. The singularity goes to the bottom of the screen and shoots out crescent shaped blades that forward then spin off screen. The singularity will start at the far left or right and makes its way while firing these crescent shaped blades. The attack ends when it reaches the opposite side of the screen. This works for all 3 kirby set ups (halbred kirby,3D,2D) 2. maybe the zero could shoot out a huge lazer blast at kirby that fills the entire screen and mabye he has to use the arrows from his trusty Little bow to rip reality and make some sort of safe place to hide. ( only see this working in 2D tbh) 3. Something similar to void's attack were the singularity creates balls of energy that will aim for kirby, but 2 will focus on the top and bottom. 4. A more advanced version of numer 3 were everything is the same exact now there beams in a x pattern on the screen ( this probably would only happen when he's at half health) 5. He could possibly summon zero2 sized replicas of zero3 and have them implode and try to suck kirby inside of them. 6. The zero stares at kirby from a distance the eye releases a huge stream of energy and starts bouncing all around the screen don't let kirby get caught in one or he'll lose a good chunk of his hp.( probably for when the zero is at a 4th of his health)

Alrighty so Phase 2 baby! After getting sucked into the black hole the Bow would break resulting in the 5 sun shards scattering around the blackhole and as Kirby would appear to have faded before Forestia in a last ditch effort would wake up and restore the fallen hero before fading as he’d would wake up to find themselves in Green Greens... except lifeless? The only enemies would be Nix(or whatever the enemies in Dark Star were called.) and some Dark Matter in the air(though extremely weak and take 2 hits with stars to kill.) Then you’d see it. In the center of Green Greens you’d realize Zero sat in the center as suddenly the fake land would cease surrounding you in the void as it’s suck you towards it making the land in the area around it as it’s be a 2D fight without abilities. Which means now you attacks do next to nothing to it. The final fight would begin as it’d stare at Kirby speaking to them.(*Insert Dialogue within the comment sections*) 5/5 Health Phase: Zero Gravity:He’d fire a circle of needles in a smooth and fast motion before directly after firing two Corrupted Stars(Similar to Kirby’s)that’s home at Kirby. Voices Of Abyss:It’d detach from his socket as the socket would fire 4 crescent moons(in a similar style to Drawcia soul with their being a gap) that’d go and around the corners before coming back all while the main eye would fire 4 waves in a cross formation.(Similar to Void Soul) before rejoining the socket and continuing the fight. Super Nova:Would go into the bottom right corner then Fire a laser along the floor and up(does not do damage.)before the ground would explode upwards one by one.(In a similar matter to Soul 0 System.) Planet Clash:He’d fly into the top left or right corner before flying along the bottom to the opposite side and firing 4 stars while on the bottom that would home at Kirby. Another Dimension Lost:It’s Fire a laser into a vortex and into the void as it’d then fire from the left side to the right(Similar to Magolor Soul), and finally 3 lasers that’d appear either on the side,ground,or diagonal of Kirby and fire at his last position. Void:Zero would bring the void further in forming a wavy cross formation as it’d spin slowly as spikes would appear in a RNG pattern that’d stab into the opposite side. ????(don’t have a name yet.):Basically Zero 3 creates a vortex in the background that’d start sucking things in. Yours simple need to to move to the right to avoid getting sucked in or else it’s a instant KO. After knocking it’s health to 3/4 it’d suddenly start to freak out sending you flying as you’d go through a Another Dimension like mini stage as at the end you’d collect a Sun Shard. The next 4/5 health I have yet to complete though it will be something Similar to Miracle Matter. I’m thinking of each phase having to do with previous Dark Matter fights. So leave any suggestions for attacks!^^

This theme is AMAZING. It gives off the vibe that Zero is a very powerful, but mysterious, being. The picture is amazing! Tell Comic Munch that it is! Thank you so much for these two remixes. This is exactly what I need, since the entire reason I got in to Kirby was because of Zero and Dark Matter. May I mention that those notes after the theme ended almost seemed to be part of it? A perfect ending to a perfect theme. As Kirby and his friends gave the final blow to Zero, the alternate dimension started cracking and shattering. They warped out through the eye, which acted like a portal, and returned safely to their home planet, Popstar. They look up and see that Zero has exploded in to a brilliant supernova. All is tranquil again. Dark Matter is defeated, or is it?

What I thought was interesting about this new version of Contra Void compared to this one is that. If this were an actual kirby game, it sounds like this is how the fight would start out, then after you'd play your 1st version. The 2nd version sounds a bit passive but still aggressive. While the 1st is passive but hopeful. I have no idea why I wrote this. I just really wanted to say this. Any thoughts Desolo?

Just had a really neat idea for this boss! Basically, since it takes place in a dimension of The Zero’s creation, or a dimension of pure negativity/Dark Matter, and Kirby typically wields weapons of pure light/friendship/light/whatever during final bosses, maybe Kirby’s weapon can cut through the darkness of The Zero’s attacks itself? What I’m getting at is, maybe the boss’ gimmick is using attacks that SEEM impossible, but can be avoided by attacking the attacks. For example, say The Zero is shooting a laser from the top of the screen to the bottom, sliding across the screen as he does, like Dark Mind. It looks like there’s no escape, but there is, because you can just cut a hole in the laser and jump through! It sounds strange but I think it’d be a fun gimmick for a standout boss.

Maybe an alternate name for The Zero could be Void Reborn, based on a theory I've got going about what Zero is.

Yes void is blank slate and can turn into other matters and such. Tho seems Hyness's ritual similar of Zero birth story. Nice. I think the extra bass (At least, I think it's a bass) melody in the background and the extra sounds make it sound a bit more... I don't know, complete? I always thought The Grand Sunset sounded more like a boss theme than this.

By the fact of elmerninis's words,zero and void are one of the balancing entities,being neutral and darkness.Zero is fill with pure dark matter substances,born with the sense of conquer light.Void in the other hand,contain both positive and negative energy,leading that it takes form of kirby(pure heart) and dark matter because dark matter as in dreamland 2 has feeling of loneliness.Now zero ascending it's dark matter power, enabling to immune to heart and friendship,Becoming the 'true dark matter'.Now it use darkness to trap the opposite entities.The singularity is filled hope and dreams with final boss music. The original version of this song is what first brought me to your channel. I absolutely love this and as with the other one, sounds like it could be official, and is super memorable. It sounds really iconic too. If I heard this melody or even the bassline elsewhere for whatever reason I'd instantly recognize it. As matter of fact I recognized it right away when I heard bits of it in Grand Sunset! It's a super catchy song that gets stuck in my head very often. I wish I had half your talent for composing!
