Definitely helpful. Thanks for doing these how to videos. I am trying to figure out the best way for me to use this for my profession. Without being so confused once off the job or sharing with the designer. I will be measuring windows for custom blinds mainly so I am taking two final measurements per window. Would be beneficial for my line of work to have both of those measurements in one box…. I am excited to receive my T-1. Struggling to patiently wait.

I’m curious, how did this work out for you? I am in the same profession, window treatments, and my immediate thought was also “it would be nice to be able to add a height to each width measurement with this”. Did you figure out a way to make it work without it being a hassle?

I've been waiting to get one, but as a backyard carpenter, this video and the associated comments have nearly convinced me that I DON'T need one! I really don't have someone that will need sharing measurements with. My application would be for the projects im doing locally. My main benefit would be having the T1 remembering the measurements.

The ROCK App is certainly helpful for organizing measurements including putting them directly in calculators or annotating them over photos too!

So can you do a cutting list thats easy to follow, seems quite complicated so thanks for the video, ill study this video more as i need it, I use mm being in the UK. I have just bought the M1 and the T1 with split tape, i've just received my M1 and waiting on my T1 so when both arrive ill be calibrating the new dewalt 780 chop saw and M1, I may do a video myself, being in the UK i've not seen any videos on these brilliant pieces of kit.

Got mine today. Is there a template to take 2 dimensions and have them pair in the app. For example if I’m measuring window openings. I’d measure width then height. It’d be cool if there’s a way for the 2 dimensions to be paired in the app.

I too make windows doors and porches, amongst many other building works and I am hoping this will eliminate the pen and paper, and hoping easier to rectify if needed. otherwise theres not much point to it for me other than storing measurements which is a great idea and the digital display showing more accuracy than my own aging eyes.
