People say that Faker is carried. This game proves otherwise. Faker is still the most important player on the team due to his experience and mentorship to this day. Maybe in the future, saying he's carried will be true, but for now, he's their carry still. Carry is not just about kills and flashiness. I think people also need to understand that the T1 players likely went in to this game without much morale. It's hard to adapt to a sudden change in players, especially when losing the person everyone looked to as the leader. People are trying to discredit the other 4 players on T1 but they also have to understand that this might be some of the only games they've played without Faker, and one of the only games they've played with Poby. It's going to take time to adjust.

I have seen Wolf’s analysis of game 1 and from a ex-pro point of view, it is interesting. He mentioned that both the top lanes and bottom lanes performed really bad and people said that they are baby-ing Poby, it is actually not..Keria moved to mid because he needs to push and he cannot do so in the bottom lane, that is why he moved up. Same with Oner, he cannot jungle properly because he cannot rank up earlier in the early games and there is nothing for him to do because both top and bottom lanes are useless

T1 often plays these early aggressive styles where u need everything to go well.. Renekton, jayce game 1, Draven needs that cash in game 2.. Faker is just a monster in reliability, he’ll be where he needs to be when he needs to be there and he refuses to get dumpster in lane against pretty much anybody.. he also shot calls a lot - when u don’t have that top 3 mid to turn around games with flanks and macro and u can’t rely on scaling then you have nothing left at all.. Oner has been a major weakness for a while, his ganks are useless and he doesn’t cover well nor does he get jungle advantage - if Keria and Faker don’t cover for his bad pathing then jungle gets rag dolled like he was in this game and in the NS series - the enemy topside just toyed with Oner

This just comes to prove haters are wrong when saying that Faker is not it anymore and he gets carried. He’s the shotcaller of the team and without that piece the puzzle just doesn’t work. Poby did very well mechanically but nobody took on Faker’s labour. He’s not only the shotcaller, you can tell he keeps the spirit and the heads up always. They also lose early games with Faker but they never give up. You can never take T1 for granted because they’ll suddenly win a team fight at min 20 and turn everything around. But without him it just feels like it’s FF 15 if the early doesn’t work. I think with more time Keria or Oner could understand that and play that role in the team, but as a T1 fan I just really want Faker to come back as soon as possible. 🍀
