I came a long from Snow Runner, jet i can see my latest instaled mod. What a mashine, absolutely vast. 1:46 the truck slitely fitches right through the bay door...LOL some inches less and it had to be parked outside...LOL Astonishing beauty...

they used to have these things built by coring, they had an arm for cutting trees, snip snip snip, then put lay them down in the back arm holders, then transport them to the road. massive massive wheels. huge, bigger than this monstrosity. happened that later, they had a machine like a cat with a special arm with a saw. you would be behind a hill see the tops of the trees waving back and forth like some huge beast foraging. the small purpose machines were faster. skidders would come in, using a huge hydraulic clamp and pull several bunches of trees to the road for the delimber machine. now, the whole thing can be done with one machine attachment even the sawing cordage to lengths nowadays. back in the day, the skidder operators would have to jump out, minus 30C and wrap cables around the bunch of trees and run them out. dangerous work. they kept a team of powersaw lumberjacks cutting a stand at the front for old times sake until they retired or were bought out. in three days, the machines were beyond the hill could barely hear them going. you come along down the hill and you see five guys logging a single stand and no other trees anywhere in sight. thats how fast technology altered that business. within a dozen years or so.
