Great insight on the diamond cut vs. Trimmed. Also love the idea of completing a subset and then building the complete set around it. Fantastic video and information!!

Really enjoyed your collection. It’s nice to have another t206 collector on KZbin. And it’s quite the feat that you’ve almost completed several of the back sets!

Thanks Jackie!! Glad you enjoyed one of the shows. I have about 6 more ungraded episodes on T206's on the way. I tend to repeat some of the basic's but there's usually a few new topic's or issue's that I explain in each episode. After all the ungraded, I will get into the graded batch of T206's.

Another great video! Thanks for sharing all the information. I’m a collector of the T206, but more just for the beauty, history and player selection. I totally agree with your point about the cards holding their value and/or increasing over time. This reason, plus the before mentioned, have let me pick up over 100 T206’s over the last 20 years. I’m not looking to complete any run or the set, but I do love collecting portraits, Polar Bear backs and HOFers. #VintageForeva #CALI😎

Thanks for another great T206 video! I am tackling the Monster by category. I have the portraits done (I have the Wagner and Plank in low grade M116 Sporting Life) and am now going for the “bat” cards. “Gloves” will be next!

Hi Matthew, that's a new way of working on the set that I never thought of. Many collect Portraits but I never thought about continuing by topic for the rest of the set. The Sporting Life cards are a great set too. I have a coupe Hal Chase cards from that set. I think they are PSA 5 or 6.

Great information. There is so much to know about the T206 with the backs, variations, etc. Where do you go to do your research on these cards?

Do you collect the 1952 topps set at all?

I don't actively collect it but usually purchase clean VG commons if I can find them under $5.
