Ok so maybe my explanation is not great but it's good enough to understand roughly what's going on, if you want to know exactly how it works then go get a physics degree :)

It looks very like an off centre fed dipole considering that the radiating element is almost twice the length of the other leg. The balun is only an isolater and not part of overall antenna length.

I've built one for 15m and I am using it on a 12m (40ft) telescopic mast. Works fine! 🙂 As a newbie I do not have much experience, however it seems to me like there is no simpler way to get on the air and to do DX QSOs.

I've got one of these as my portable 2 metre antenna (although I prefer a ladder line Slim Jim) and I have two hanging in a tree for 6 and 4 metres. Easy to make (RG58!) they should really be more popular.

I built one for 10m, then tested it back to back with a shop bought 1/2 wave vertical, both at the same height....... The T2LT was just as good on both RX and TX, since then I've built them for 6m and 2m, great for /P!........ M0KED.
