The gunbreach in the T34 can transform into a grill with the Push of a button and it uses the shell in the breach as fuel. The advantage is that you don't have to oil the gun breach for maintinance because of all the meat fat.

The T34 is much more forgiving that the Caenarvron, if you make one mistake in the Caenarvron you are dead. But if in the right hands the Caenarvron is much more capable.

This was actually pretty nice comparison, but when it comes to armour and mobility, they are more or less the same, differences are small, no clear winner. Where Caernarvon really shines is fire power, I fully agree with you in this way. Problem with this video is, that you compared wrong vehicles. Caernarvon simply shouldn't be same BR as T34. Much more interesting comparison would be T32E1 vs Caernarvon. Then you would clearly see, that Caernarvon sits in wrong BR right now. Dont understimate power of stabilizer.

Well the t34 wins in the speed and agility category as the extra armour addition is subtle and won’t hamper the weight of the tank and it’s not box shaped with more angles allowing for more ricochets, the panzer 4 h wins in armour and fire power and that’s it , the extra armour is more weight gaining than that used by the soviet T34 tank which slows it down dramatically 😂 and the soviet T34 can use power assisted turret drives to allow for faster gun traverse where as the panzer 4 had to use a hand crank in its J and lighting blitz form so it has that going for it unfortunately and lastly the Soviet T34 has a better transmission placement, which I know means not having it in the front means that the hull crew can survive longer but it means that more ammunition can be stored

Speaking of heavy tanks. We lost the biggest contestant in this field. The panzer 8 maus. Who we now lost forever for the new players. Idk if you can gain it from tournaments but almost everything heavy was a prototype. The maus hull was tested and the jagdtigers gun did fire so wy not put 1 and 1 together and make it a go.

I'm sorry, but I have to give the edge to the T34 in the firepower category. The 20 pounder of the Caernarvon does have a better fire rate than the T34, but that doesn't matter much when you take into account the VERY poor post penetration damage of its APDS round. The Caernarvon may reload faster, but that doesn't matter much when you have to shoot the enemy tank 3 times to kill it. The standard AP round of the T34 usually results in a one-shot kill when it pens and it effectively has the same penetration as that of the APDS of the 20 pounder. Sorry Bruce, but the firepower advantage goes to the T34.

German planes are easier to use and far better in 1v1. Also the 109s have fantasy flight models so they suffer far less compression than they should. If the flight models were more realistic the 190 would be more competitive, but Germany would be kinda lacking around 5.0-6.0

How about we not and please let’s talk how a tiger 2 is at the same br as a persh and how at 6.0-6.3 battles tiger 2s have a massive advantage over the range and armor than America has to offer. This is also made worse by the long range centered gameplay that most to all maps are made around. Plus the Panther’s turret traverse should be heavily nerfed mainly because it is more like a minute and not 30 seconds

Ok i love the Carnarvon, not ganna lie, but why are both these tanks repair costs so high. The T34 is almost at 10 k fully upgraded and the Carnarvon is 8k. It just doesnt make sense because after the T34 (and the 15 k and 17k T32s) the M103 goes down to 6k... Did they just forget to redo those repair costs? For the brits its EVEN worse. All the rank V MBTs are above 8 k. Ive heard this was because APDS was god shell before, but now APDS doesnt do enough (i recommend using HESH at close range to easily 1 shot). Its like you guys forgot you tried to "balance" the rank V MBTs with repair cost. Its really an insult when the tanks in rank 6 are better, AND they cost less... Fix those repair costs is all Im trying to say lol. Makes it worse that when you lose 8 k from getting one shotted by and RU 251, you get bombed when you spawn in your 8 k vickers

At the time of its creation the british engineer could just guess and speculate how powerful the IS-3 tanks were. So they did their best to create a tank that can face up against the IS-3's. It's safe to say that the team behind the FV 201 (hull of Carnarvon and Conqueror) underestimated how powerful the IS-3's were. But on the flipside the IS-3s ammunition load consists of mainly HE shells since they were deemed good enough to deal with pretty much any target. And both the Carnarvon and Conqueror are well protected enough to be able to survive a 122mm HE shell with some damages though. (My info might not be correct so please take it with a grain of salt and correct me if I'm wrong)

Caernarvon is much more reliable and consistent, with the higher velocity gun and stabilizer, but the T34 can be a monster in downtiers where the turret can't be perforated by enemy shells and you can take your time to line up your 120mm cheeseburger delivery system.

I really really love the T34. You can penetrate nearly every target and oneshot it. The 3 50 cal.s are also very effective if there is an armored car. It’s also looking very cool :D

Caenarvon doesn't have 300mm of mantlet armour, the only way you can get anywhere close to that amount of protection is if you are hull down and being shot from below, but even then you'll still get penned by everything from 4.7 and above

it does in parts. 200mm in the centre of the mantlet with a 100mm plate behind it. effective armour is even higher of course. but no the t34 mantlet is much more dependable.

dude apds really makes the difference for me, whan i hit things with the 120 milimeter T-34 shell, it obliterstes everything inside even tho its just apcbc without explosive mass inside, because it has such a big diameter that it grabs a really big chunk of metal on impact and basicly throws it inside the tank and makes it into shrapnel. and having such a big diameter means it has to push through more metal, and thats why i love the t-34. its a proper heavy tank. also, whan the apds of the carnaevon hits the tank it barely does any shrapneling because its small diameter

Was this ever a challenge? The T34 has literally no chance at winning. It's worse than pretty much everything at its tier. Same goes for the T29. They're out gunned and out armoured.

in my opinion i prefer the US T34, i know its kinda off but i prefer 1 shotting my enemy that puncturing them with thousand needles since most enemy at 6.7 can 1 shot you the spall liner of T 34 helps a lot against APHE rather than the Caernarvon in which APHE will have a feast when it penned but this is all entirely my opinion, having stab is much more usefull for players who want to play boom and zoom but i cant do it in both tanks since it takes time for them to reach max speed and only 34-35 is too low for boom and boom tactics in tanks
