What a transformation, I can't wait to see it finished. I'd have a hard time letting it go after putting in all that work.

What another great video matey... Have you ever had a T4 cambelt snap and repaired it??? I had mine plus all the auxiliary bits changed 2 years ago but only done around 500 miles since... Ive been told the camshaft can snap... Any input or help would be much appreciated.. Many thanks Glen

After removing the brown bits with abrasives and just prior to the rust converter, you'll be amazed how much shinier you can get the metal by dowsing it with concentrated sulfuric acid! Leave THAT on for an hour. This removes all traces that are not visible. Then convert. I like to be clinical.. 🙂

If you've lost a bit off the surface, top it back up with cavity wax - only Dinitrol. ML will do. Sand down the wax to a perfect level. Paint over the cavity wax. Pernanent repair as rust cannot exist without moisture and moistrue cannot get back onto the surface because the Dinitrol is a water dispersant. ZERO moisture.

You need to be because raptor lets rust through that wasn't thoroughly taken care of before hand . It's also not stain and scratch resistant as marketed .

@@tabularasa7775 I have over two decades of testing different rust applications. You should see the test plan spreadsheet. One vehicle I've had for 28 years. I then give my findings away for free, and people laugh, ignore, or just get on with whatever advice they're happy with. Makes me cringe to the teeth when I see a lovely paintjob knowing that underneath it all, that cancer is still at work...hey ho... not my vehicle... 🙂🚙
