Hello, can you do a quick video clip review on the smartphone? On lumix I can check and listen via streaming my recorded clip with audio, on other apps I have to download at least the video files, it's very slow. This app allow to check directly photo and video without any download on the smartphone? Any limitation about face detection and AF mode while using remote live view? Sony on 4k lose the face tracking for example with the app.
@Imspir33 жыл бұрын
Hi, unfortunately the files will have to be downloaded in order to review them as you can see at 13:31. As for limition when shooting video, I've just tried using the app and the face tracking still works at 4k as far as I can see. Hope this helps.

My goodness. I need to upgrade. I'm currently using a Nikon D7100 and the wireless device is so temperamental and I have no control over the camera in it when I see my image on my ipad. I wish they would allow this on a Macbook pro. Seeing my image on a bigger screen would be a blessing on my eyes.

Hi, I found your Snapbridge video very useful...thanks. Have you figured out any way to assess the exposure of a photo you are about to take in manual, to know if it is about to be over or under exposed as you would looking through the camera viewfinder or live view if Snapbridge was not connected.The exp compensation setting remains at 0 even if the image is severely under or over exposed and of course the live view remains well lit even if the settings are way off. Looking forward to your (or anyone else's) response!

Hello, great video thank you. I’m having a bit of trouble with mine, my camera will say “connected to smart device” like yours does at 3:59 but it seems to not load after that, it’s like those words are frozen on my camera and it won’t go away, and then when I look on my phone, the video showing from my camera is completely black. It says “LV off” on my phone but when I’ve tried to turn on my live view something pops up saying I can’t use the remote photography when the live view is on or when I’m in shooting mode. This is a bit hard to explain and you probably have no idea how I can fix this but I thought I’d ask anyway. If you have any idea or any tips I can try I’d really appreciate it.

can you actually set longer shutter speed than 30 seconds using this app? so you dont have to buy a remote
@Imspir33 жыл бұрын
Hi, unfortunately you can't get longer than 30s. I think they have limit this for battery saving. Moreover the app is not able reconnect to the camera when it's disconnected for whatever reason. You'll have to reestablish the WiFi by activating using the buttons on the camera.

And you have to go through all these menus EACH time you want to use snap bridge. Imagine wanting to take a photo of yourself when you're out and about.. Nikon needs to make this process simpler

Is there a pair of lens to buy for smartphones to improving the selfies? I love portrait mode
@Imspir33 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I don't own any because mobile phone still relies on computational processing to improve due to the physical limit. On cameras with large sensor, you can get great results with the compression you get with long focal lens and low depth of field. This is rather difficult to replicate for mobile.

how to change the whitebalance manual in this app???
@Imspir33 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately we can't change the wb manually. There are presets in there which should cover a vast majority of the scenarios. What I normally do is use whichever is the most accurate to my eye and fine tune the photos during pp. I never shoot jpg ONLY raw so this doesn't affect me at all.

Morning... I'd like to use an old SE as a monitor for selfie recordings or maybe also for vlogs. That's really great. But as long as Snapbridge is active, my remote shutter release doesn't work. Is a workaround or setting known to fix this problem?

Hi, I'm assuming you are referring to an iphone? Unfortunately I am on android so can't really help. However this sound like this is app limitation so don't think there will be a workaround. Can't you trigger the shuttle using the self timer function instead?
